A mechanism for linking a chair and a footrest of a stairlift to each other includes: a base; a chair mounted on the base and having a seat swingably connected to the base and a cord control portion; a footrest having a plate pivotally connected to the base; a link unit having a first link and a footrest pivotal portion for driving the footrest to swing, wherein the first link has a base pivotal connection portion pivotally connected to the base, a cord-penetrable portion, and a spring-hooked portion; a control cable having a cord penetrating the cord-penetrable portion, wherein the cord has a first end connected to the cord control portion of the chair, a second end, and a link-pressing portion for pressing against the cord-penetrable portion; and a cable-connected spring with two ends hooked to the base and the second end of the control cable, respectively.

An overspeed braking mechanism for a stairlift includes: a main shaft driven by a motor to rotate; a claw member connecting with the main shaft to thereby rotate synchronously with the main shaft and having a tooth; a cam member connecting with the claw member and having an abutting portion spaced apart from the tooth of the claw member radially by a predetermined angle; a driven unit having a cam contact portion, wherein the abutting portion of the cam member abuts against the cam contact portion to cause the driven unit to swing, whereas a pawl portion of a claw contact member engages with the tooth of the claw member and has a switch contact portion; and a micro switch adapted to be touched by the switch contact portion, controlling the motor to drive the main shaft to rotate.

A wheel set structure of an electric wheelchair is disclosed to include a wheelchair frame, which defines a first steering direction and a second steering direction reversed to the first steering direction, at least one swinging mechanism pivotally mounted on the wheelchair frame each having a swinging member and a wheel holder, at least one transmission wheel assembly connected to the swinging member each having a motor and a driving wheel coupled to and rotatable by the motor, and at least one first wheel assembly mounted on the wheel holder each pivotally holding a wheel. When the at least one swinging member is biased relative to the at least one wheelchair frame, the at least one first wheel assembly is biased with the at least one swinging member so that the elevation of the wheel of each first wheel assembly and the elevation of the driving wheel of each transmission wheel assembly are relatively changed at a constant ratio.
