A socket connector includes an insulating body having a base portion and a holding portion extending upward from a front of the base portion. The holding portion defines a terminal fillister spread to the base portion. A plurality of openings is opened in a front face of the holding portion and communicates with the terminal fillister. A terminal group is molded in the terminal fillister of the insulating body. The terminal group has a plurality of elastic touching arms stretching outside the insulating body, and a plurality of contact slices exposed through the openings respectively. A magnetic body is curved from a magnetic metal board and defines a window. The magnetic body is mounted around the holding portion with the window facing the openings of the insulating housing to further expose the contact slices therethrough. The terminal group further electrically contacts with the magnetic body.

Socket connector

A receptacle connector includes an insulating housing with a plurality of openings apart opened in a front face thereof. A terminal group includes a ground terminal embedded in the insulating housing. The terminal group has a plurality of contact slices molded in the insulating housing and exposed through the openings respectively, and a plurality of touching arms elastically stretching outside the insulating housing. At least one connecting member is molded in the insulating housing to electrically connect with the ground terminal, and has a connecting slice exposed outside and abreast with the front face of the insulating housing. A metal shell is mounted to the front face of the insulating housing and point welded with the connecting slice. A window is opened in the metal shell and located to face the openings for further exposing the contact slices therethrough. A waterproof washer is sealed around the metal shell.

Receptacle connector

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing having a base body of which a front surface is inclined to act as a mating face. The mating face is concaved rearward to define a plurality of terminal grooves penetrating through the base body and a plurality of receiving grooves of substantial U-shape each surrounding one of the terminal grooves. Wherein there are some terminal grooves without being surrounded by any receiving grooves and each of them is located between every two adjacent receiving grooves. A plurality of terminals is inserted forward in the terminal grooves of the insulating housing respectively. Each terminal has a contact end exposed outside through a front end of the corresponding terminal groove. A plurality of magnet units each is of substantial U-shape and is assembled in the receiving groove of the insulating housing.

Electrical connector

A card connector includes a first insulating housing defining a first receiving room, a second insulating housing defining a second receiving room, a first terminal group molded in the first insulating housing and having a plurality of first contact portions which project in the first receiving room, a second terminal group molded in the second insulating housing and having a plurality of second contact portions which project in the second receiving room, a drawer and a shielding shell. The first insulating housing is mounted on the second insulating housing, and the drawer is movably assembled between the first insulating housing and the second insulating housing. The drawer has two blocking slices bending downward to stretch in the second receiving room for ejecting a card out of the second receiving room by pulling the drawer outward. The shielding shell encloses the insulating housings.

Card connector

An electrical terminal has a soldering plate, a propping plate extending upward and rearward from a front end of the soldering plate, a resilient arm bending upward and then extending forward from a rear end of the soldering plate, and a pressing portion of inverted-V shape connected with a front end of the resilient arm and defining a mouth between a front arm and a rear arm thereof. A top end of the propping plate bends forward and downward to form a lower hook tail stretched in the mouth, resisting against an inner side of the front arm, and apart from an inner turning of the pressing portion. A bottom end of the front arm bends rearward and upward to form an upper hook tail hooking the lower hook tail with a free end thereof resisting against an outer side of the propping plate.

Electrical terminal

A card connector includes a first insulating housing, a second insulating housing mounted above the first insulating housing, a plurality of electrical terminals assembled in the first insulating housing and the second insulating housing, and a shielding shell enclosing the first and the second insulating housings. The first insulating housing defines a first receiving room and a second receiving room abreast arranged with each other, and the second insulating housing defines a third receiving room located over the first and the second receiving rooms. So the card connector forms a structure combining a juxtaposition arrangement and a stratiform arrangement for the receiving rooms to reduce the space occupied by the card connector on an external circuit board. Such structure contributes to the miniaturization of digital products.

A clutching jig includes a first holding bar, a second holding bar, and a fixing means. The first holding bar has a first inner surface, a first end portion and a second end, an engaging portion projected from the first inner surface of the first end portion, and a first recess formed on the second end portion. The second holding bar includes a second inner surface, a third end portion, a fourth end portion, and a second recess formed on the fourth end portion. The fixing means fixes the first end portion with the third end portion. While the clutching jig is assembled, the first inner surface faces the second inner surface, and the engaging portion engages the second inner surface of the third end portion by the fixing means to form a gap between the first inner surface and the second inner surface.

Clutching jig

A socket connector includes an insulating body having a base body and a holding body extending upward from a front of the base body. The holding body defines a terminal fillister spread to the base body. A plurality of openings is opened in a front face of the holding body and communicates with the terminal fillister. A terminal group molding in the terminal fillister of the insulating body has a plurality of elastic touching arms stretching outside the insulating body, and a plurality of contact slices exposed through the openings respectively. A magnetic body defines a window. The magnetic body is mounted to a front of the insulating body with the window facing the openings to further expose the contact slices therethrough. The terminal group has a ground terminal elastically projecting forward out of the insulating body to electrically abut against a rear face of the magnetic body.

Plug connector

Connector

A connector assembly includes a socket connector, and a plug connector including a plug housing and plug terminals disposed in the plug housing and each having a contact portion projected sideward out of the plug housing. The socket connector includes a socket housing defining an insertion space, plug terminals disposed in the socket housing and contact pads embedded in two opposite inner sidewalls of the insertion space to connect with the plug terminals and exposed in the insertion space. Two end edges of the inner sidewalls of the insertion space are designed with two arc-shaped guiding surfaces. A bottom of each contact pad is bent and embedded in the inner sidewall to realize a smooth connection of the contact pad and the guiding surface so as to guide the contact portions to be inserted into the insertion space along the guiding surfaces and electrically contact with the contact pads.

Connector assembly

A contacting terminal electrically connecting with an electrical element includes a soldering plate, a pair of facing confining plates extended upward from two opposite side edges of the soldering plate, an upward flexible arm extended from one end of the soldering plate, and a contacting portion extended from a free end of the flexible arm and beyond tops of the confining plates. The contacting portion is elastically pressed downward by the electrical element to realize an electrical connection therebetween and restricted between the confining plates. Tops of the confining plates are capable of stopping the electrical element pressing the contacting portion downward excessively.

Contacting terminal

An audio jack connector includes an insulating housing, signal terminals and a ground terminal. The insulating housing defines an insertion hole extending longitudinally to penetrate through a front of the insulating housing, a fastening groove and a gap communicating with the insertion hole. The signal terminals are disposed at regular intervals between one side surface and the insertion hole of the insulating housing. The ground terminal has a base plate vertically fastened in one side surface of the insulating housing, a soldering arm projected under a bottom surface, a fastening plate bent from a top of the base plate, an elastic plate extending forward from the fastening plate and a contact arm formed by a front end of the elastic plate arched downward. The fastening plate and the elastic plate are disposed in the fastening groove with the contact arm stretched into the insertion hole through the gap.

Audio jack connector

A card connector for receiving a card includes an insulating housing, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulating housing, an ejection mechanism and a shielding shell covered on the insulating housing. The insulating housing defines a guiding groove. The ejection mechanism assembled in the insulating housing includes a sliding block, an elastic element and a guide pin. The sliding block has a base body, a sliding body extending sideward from one side of the base body for ejecting the card out, and a locking body extending frontward from a root of the sliding body and spaced from the one side of the base body to define a positioning passage therebetween for guiding the card to enter the insulating housing, a guiding block protruded at a bottom of the locking body to be slidably located in the guiding groove to guide the slide of the sliding block.
