The disclosure provides a light emitting device including a substrate and multiple pixels. The pixels are disposed on the substrate, each of the pixels includes multiple sub-pixels. Two adjacent sub-pixels are separated by a distance D, and one of the two adjacent sub-pixels has a height H. The distance and the height satisfy a relational expression: 0.3H<D≤30H.

Light emitting device

An electronic device including a light emitting unit and a voltage comparator is provided. The voltage comparator is coupled to the light emitting unit and configured to receive a first voltage and a second voltage. When the first voltage is greater than the second voltage, the voltage comparator outputs a comparison signal having a first voltage level to turn on the light emitting unit. When the first voltage is less than the second voltage, the voltage comparator outputs a comparison signal having a second voltage level to turn off the light emitting unit.

Electronic device

A control method applied in a display device is provided. The display device includes an image generator and a screen. The image generator is directed to output an output image. The screen is directed to operate in a first operation mode or a second operation mode. The screen has a first light-transmittance in the first operation mode and has a second light-transmittance in the second operation mode. The first light-transmittance is different from the second light-transmittance. In response to the screen operating in the first operation mode or the second operation mode, the image generator outputs the output image onto the screen in a light-emitting period and stops outputting the output image onto the screen in a non-light-emitting period after the light-emitting period.

Control method

A display device includes a display unit, and a backlight module. The display unit includes a display area and a peripheral area. The peripheral area surrounds the display area. The backlight module is disposed corresponding to the display unit. The backlight module includes a circuit board that has a surface. The circuit board includes a plurality of light emitting units, and a plurality of edge units.

Display device

A display device for displaying image information including an image generator circuit and a photo-switchable screen is provided. The image generator circuit outputs an output image. The photo-switchable screen operates in a first operation mode or a second operation mode. In response to the photo-switchable screen operating in the first operation mode, the photo-switchable screen has a first light-transmittance, and the photo-switchable screen generates the image information according to the output image. In response to the photo-switchable screen operating in the second operation mode, the photo-switchable screen has a second light-transmittance. The first light-transmittance is less than the second light-transmittance.

Display device and control method thereof

A display device including a backlight plate, a first panel, and a second panel is provided. The first panel is disposed on the backlight plate and includes a first liquid crystal layer and an upper substrate disposed on the first liquid crystal layer. The second panel is disposed on the first panel and includes a bottom substrate and a second liquid crystal layer disposed on the bottom substrate. The first panel includes a plurality of first pixels. The second panel includes a plurality of second pixels. A ratio relationship between the first panel and the second panel is wherein Y is a distance between the bottom surface of the upper substrate and the top surface of the bottom substrate, X is a pixel pitch between the second pixels, Ris the number of first pixels, and Ris the number of second pixels.

A display device including a backlight plate, a first panel and a second panel is provided. The backlight plate includes a plurality of light emission modules. The first panel is disposed on the backlight plate. The second panel is disposed on the first panel. Each of the plurality of light emission modules includes at least one luminescent element. A first light emission module of the plurality of light emission modules corresponds to a region of the first panel including a plurality of first pixels. Responsive to the at least one luminescent element of the first light emission module being activated, the at least one luminescent element of a second light emission module of the plurality of light emission modules is activated. The second light emission module is adjacent to the first light emission module.

A method for compensating for a brightness of an abnormal pixel of a display device is provided. The display device includes a plurality of normal pixels. The method includes: enhancing a brightness of at least one of the normal pixels to compensate for the brightness of the abnormal pixel. The at least one of the normal pixels has a same color as the abnormal pixel, and is adjacent to the abnormal pixel.

Method for compensating for brightness of abnormal pixel of display device

An electronic device includes a power source unit and an electronic unit. The electronic unit includes a first switch, a light-emitting unit, and a plurality of pulse switches. The first switch is coupled to the power source unit, and the first switch has a gate electrode. The light-emitting unit is coupled to the first switch. The plurality of pulse switches are coupled to the gate electrode of the first switch. Therefore, the brightness of the light-emitting unit may be effectively controlled to improve the quality of the electronic device.

A display device includes: a display panel having a light-tuning array; a backlight module providing a backlight to the light-tuning array; and a backlight driving module electrically connected with the backlight module. The backlight driving module has a first driving mode corresponding to a first range of brightness scale and a second driving mode corresponding to a second range of brightness scale. The first driving mode controls the brightness scale corresponding to the backlight by adjusting a duty ratio of a driving signal. The second driving mode controls the brightness scale corresponding to the backlight by adjusting a current value of the driving signal.

A display device is provided, which includes a display unit and a backlight module. The backlight module is disposed corresponding to the display unit. The backlight module includes a circuit board, a plurality of light sources, a diffuser plate and an optical film. An adjustment method, which is adapted in a display including a plurality of pixels and a plurality of backlight illuminants, includes: inputting an image signal with a single chromaticity and luminance to the display; adjusting a set of a backlight red gray-level luminance, a backlight green gray-level luminance, and a backlight blue gray-level luminance for each of the illuminants, and the difference of the luminance of the backlight illuminants is between 0 and 10%; and adjusting a set of a pixel red gray-level value, a pixel green gray-level value, and a pixel blue gray-level value for each of the pixels, and the difference of the luminance of the pixels is between 0% and 5%.

Adjustment method for display de-Mura

A backlight module and a display device are disclosed. The display device includes: a reflective plate; a light guide plate disposed on the reflective plate; a turning film disposed on the light guide plate, wherein the turning film comprises a plurality of grooves on a surface thereof facing to the light guide plate; an optical film disposed on the turning film; a display panel disposed on the optical film; and a micro-structure film disposed on the optical film, wherein the display panel and the micro-structure film are arranged in a stack, the micro-structure film includes a first layer and a second layer, and an interface between the first layer and the second layer is formed of a multi-curve structure.

Backlight module and display device containing the same

A display device is disclosed, which includes: a backlight module; a first display panel disposed on the backlight module; and a second display panel disposed between the backlight module and the first display panel, wherein the second display panel includes a first zone and a second zone adjacent to the first zone, the first zone includes a first sub-zone, the second zone includes a second sub-zone and a third sub-zone, and the third sub-zone is disposed between the first sub-zone and the second sub-zone, wherein the first sub-zone has a first luminance, the second sub-zone has a second luminance, the third sub-zone has a third luminance, the first luminance, the second luminance and the third luminance are different, and the third luminance is between the first luminance and the second luminance.

The disclosure provides a display device including a display panel and a light source module. The light source module is arranged on one side of the display panel and provides a display light source to the display panel. The light source module includes a first light-emitting component and a second light-emitting component. The first light-emitting component includes a first electroluminescent structure. The second light-emitting component includes a second electroluminescent structure. The second light-emitting component includes a wavelength-converting material, while the first light-emitting component does not include any wavelength-converting material. The display device is able to provide an ideal light source without consuming significant energy.
