This invention discloses a display panel including a first substrate, light emitting elements, a touch sensing structure and a conductive layer. The light emitting elements are disposed on the first substrate. The touch sensing structure is disposed on the first substrate and on a side away from a light emitting surface of the light emitting elements. The conductive layer is disposed between the light emitting elements and the first substrate and includes contacts or at least a portion of the touch sensing structure, and the light emitting elements and the contacts are electrically connected.

Display panel and display device

A pixel array substrate including a substrate, a plurality of pixel structures, and a flat layer is provided. The pixel structures are correspondingly disposed in pixel regions of the substrate. At least one of pixel structure includes an active element, a reflective electrode, and an auxiliary electrode. The reflective electrode is electrically connected to the active element. The auxiliary electrode is electrically connected to the reflective electrode and the active element. A vertical projection of the reflective electrode on the substrate overlaps a vertical projection of the auxiliary electrode on the substrate. An area of the vertical projection of the reflective electrode on the substrate is not greater than an area of the vertical projection of the auxiliary electrode on the substrate. The flat layer is disposed between the auxiliary electrode and the active element. A display device by using the pixel array substrate is also provided.

Pixel array substrate and display device

A method for manufacturing a flexible panel is provided, and the method includes following steps. A column is formed on a carrier substrate. A flexible layer is formed on the carrier substrate, where at least a part of a side surface of the column is surrounded by the flexible layer, so as to form a through hole in the flexible layer. A component layer is formed on the flexible layer, and the column and the carrier substrate are removed. No chars, cracks, and cutting marks are formed on an edge of the through hole of the flexible panel.

Method for manufacturing flexible panel

A reflective liquid crystal display panel including a plurality of pixel units is provided. Each pixel unit includes first and second substrates, one first signal line, four second signal lines, a liquid crystal layer, a first pixel structure, a second pixel structure, a third pixel structure and a fourth pixel structure. The first and second signal lines are disposed on the first substrate. The first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures are electrically connected to one of the four second signal lines respectively and electrically connected to the first signal line, where the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures respectively include an active component and a reflective pixel electrode electrically connected to the active component, and a reflection area ratio of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is 1:2:4:8. The second substrate is located opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display panel displays 16 gray scales to achieve good visual effect.

Reflective liquid crystal display panel

A reflective liquid crystal display panel including a plurality of pixel units is provided. Each pixel unit includes first and second substrates, one first signal line, four second signal lines, a liquid crystal layer, a first pixel structure, a second pixel structure, a third pixel structure and a fourth pixel structure. The first and second signal lines are disposed on the first substrate. The first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures are electrically connected to one of the four second signal lines respectively and electrically connected to the first signal line, where the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures respectively include an active component and a reflective pixel electrode electrically connected to the active component, and a reflection area ratio of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is one of 1:2:4:8 and 2:1:4:8. The second substrate is located opposite to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display panel displays 16 gray scales to achieve good visual effect.

A reflective LCD panel includes a plurality of pixel units, each of which includes: first and second substrates, first and second scan lines, first and second data lines, a liquid crystal layer, and first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures. The first and second scan lines and the first and second data lines are disposed on the first substrate. Each of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is electrically connected to one of the first and second scan lines and one of the first and second data lines, respectively. The first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures respectively include: an active component and a reflective pixel electrode electrically connected to the active component, and a reflective area ratio of the first, second, third, and fourth pixel structures is 1:2:4:8 or 2:1:4:8. Here, 16 gray scales may be displayed for achieving better visual effects.

A flat display panel includes an array substrate and a color filter substrate facing each other. Multiple first electrodes and second electrodes are formed on the array substrate. The first electrodes receive scan signals transmitted from a driving circuit, and each of the second electrodes is connected to a corresponding scan line. Multiple signal lines are formed on the color filter substrate and in an active display area. Besides, multiple third electrodes and forth electrodes are formed on the color filter substrate. Each of the third electrodes is electrically connected to a corresponding forth electrode by a corresponding signal line, each of the third electrodes is electrically connected to a corresponding first electrode, and each of the forth electrodes is electrically connected to a corresponding second electrode.

A display panel includes a first substrate, a conductive light-shielding pattern, color filter patterns, a second substrate, scan lines, data lines, pixel structures, third pads and fourth pads. The conductive light-shielding pattern disposed on the first substrate defines conductive matrix pattern, first pads, and second pads. Each first pad is electrically connected to one corresponding second pad through the conductive matrix pattern and insulated with other second pads. The color filter patterns are disposed on the first substrate and a portion of each color filter pattern overlaps the conductive light-shielding pattern. The third pads are one-to-one electrically to the first pads while the fourth pads are one-to-one electrically connected to the second pads. Each fourth pad is electrically connected to one of the scan lines and one of the data lines.

Display panel

A transflective liquid crystal display is provided which includes a color-filter substrate, an active matrix substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between them. The active matrix substrate includes a first transparent substrate and includes a plurality of switching devices, a plurality of transparent pixel electrodes and a plurality of reflective pixel electrodes formed on the first transparent substrate. The color-filter substrate includes a second transparent substrate, a first and second transparent conducting layers and a dielectric layer. The first transparent conducting layer is interposed between the second transparent substrate and the second transparent conducting layer, and the dielectric layer is interposed between the first and second transparent conducting layers. The second transparent conducting layer in each pixel area has at least one opening. The openings positionally correspond to the reflective pixel electrodes.

Transflective liquid crystal display having transparent conductive layer with  opening

A liquid crystal display panel including an active device matrix substrate, an opposite substrate, and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The active device matrix substrate includes a first substrate, an active device array, a padding device, first connecting electrodes, and shielding electrodes. The padding device is disposed on active devices and data lines of the active device array. The first connecting electrodes are located above the active devices and electrically connected to the active devices. The shielding electrodes are located above the data lines and electrically connected to a common voltage. The opposite substrate includes a second substrate, first electrodes, an insulating layer, second electrodes having slits and opposite to the first electrodes, spacers corresponding to the active devices, and second connecting electrodes covering the spacers to directly contact with the first connecting electrodes and electrically connected to the first electrodes or the second electrodes.

Liquid crystal display panel comprising first connecting electrodes disposed on a padding device and electrically connected to active devices and to second connecting electrodes

A multi-domain liquid crystal display (LCD) includes multiple effective pixel electrodes, dummy pixel electrodes and auxiliary electrodes. The effective pixel electrodes are regularly arranged in an array of row and column, and the array of effective pixel electrodes constitute an active display area of the multi-domain LCD. The dummy pixel electrodes are provided outside the active display area and arranged at least on the side of an outermost row or outermost column of the array of effective pixel electrodes. Each auxiliary electrode is positioned next to one side of an effective pixel electrode or a dummy pixel electrode to produce fringe fields and is connected to another effective pixel electrode controlled by a preceding or a succeeding signal line to allow all effective pixel electrodes to have substantially the same coupling capacitance.

Multi-domain liquid crystal display

A color washout reducing LCD panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first and second substrates is provided. The first substrate includes several thin film transistors (TFTs) arranged in an array and several pixel electrodes each electrically connected to one TFT. Each pixel electrode has a first and a second electrode blocks. The first electrode block has several first slits, wherein a first interval of the first electrode block is perpendicular to the first slits, and a first width of the first electrode block is between any two neighboring first slits. The second electrode block has several second slits, wherein a second interval of the second electrode block is perpendicular to the second slit and not equal to the first interval, and a second width of the second electrode block is between any two neighboring second slits.

Color washout reducing liquid crystal display panel and LCD device using the same

A liquid crystal display is provided which includes a color-filter substrate, an active matrix substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between them. The active matrix substrate includes a first transparent substrate and includes a plurality of switching elements and a plurality of pixel electrodes formed on the first transparent substrate. Each switching element is electrically connected one of the pixel electrodes. The color-filter substrate defines a plurality of pixel areas. Each pixel area is suitable for corresponding to one of the pixel electrodes, includes a second transparent substrate, a first and second transparent conducting layers and a dielectric layer. The first transparent conducting layer is interposed between the second transparent substrate and the second transparent conducting layer, and the dielectric layer is interposed between the first and second transparent conducting layers. The second transparent conducting layer in each pixel area defines a hole.

Color filter substrate and liquid crystal display

A pixel circuit structure applied in an LCD panel, which has a common voltage and includes at least one data line, is provided. The pixel circuit structure includes a first and a second circuit. The first circuit includes a first switch and a first capacitor. The second circuit includes a second switch, a third switch and a second capacitor. One end of the first capacitor receives the common voltage. Two ends of the first switch are respectively coupled to the data line and the other end of the first capacitor. The second and the third switch are coupled serially between the data line and a voltage source. One end of the second capacitor receives the common voltage, and the other end is coupled between the second and the third switch. The potential difference between the two ends of the first capacitor is different from that of the second capacitor.

Pixel circuit structure

A multi-domain liquid crystal display includes multiple first and second picture elements and multiple first and second auxiliary electrodes. The first and second picture elements have opposite polarities under the same frame of an inversion drive scheme, and each picture element has a reflective region and a transmissive region. The first auxiliary electrodes are connected to the first picture elements, and each of the first auxiliary electrodes is positioned next to at least one side of one second picture element. The second auxiliary electrodes are connected to the second picture elements, and each of the second auxiliary electrodes is positioned next to at least one side of one first picture element.
