Water leakage of a steam oven provided on an aircraft for heating ingredients is to be prevented. Two solenoid valvesandare inserted in series in a water supply circuit of a steam oven. A power switchsupplies a 15 V direct current to the solenoid valvesand. A controllertransmits a command to driving circuitsandof the solenoid valves according to a signal of a temperature sensorin the oven. An output of a clock generatoris counted by a frequency counter and a time in which the valves are opened is counted. When count of a valve opening time becomes longer than a predetermined value, the power switchof the solenoid valves is disconnected to prevent water leakage.

Steam oven for aircraft

A control system is provided that adopts a communication network using wireless visible light and IR light communications in a galley of an aircraft which is subjected to limitations of aviation regulations regarding wired communications. Insert equipments each having a visible light receiving element and an IR emitting element are disposed in a galley of an aircraft, and a galley controller is disposed within the galley or a circumference area thereof having a visible light emitting panel, an IR receiving element and a display/control panel for controlling the insert equipments. A mutual communication function between the galley controller and the insert equipments and a remote control function for controlling the insert equipments from the galley controller are realized via transmission and reception of visible light communication data and IR communication data.

Galley control system of aircraft

A current control circuit (active element) is provided that is connected between a rectifier of a DC power source and a smoothing capacitor in a power frequency converter and that controls a variation in the rectified current caused by a variation in the instantaneous power consumption of the load device. When the rectified current increases, the current control circuit limits the current to have a reference current value or lower and, when the rectified current decreases, the current control circuit increases the current to have a value close to the reference current to thereby suppress the rectified current from the rectifier to a substantially-constant value. This consequently mitigates the influence on the primary power source by the variation in the instantaneous power consumption of the load device, thus clearing the Load Demand Variation specification required for the power source to be used in an aircraft.

Synchronizing signals in a PAL system are generated without the need for an n f.sub.H oscillator by generating a reference signal having 568 cycles per line, adding a half cycle per line and then substracting one cycle per field. Pre-synchronizing signals are generated from the processed reference signal and the pre-synchronizing signals are then phase shifted by an amount which varies linearly with respect to elapsed time during each field from a value of zero to a value of substantially 1/(2 f.sub.sc).

PAL System synchronizing signal generating apparatus

A time base corrector (TBC) for a special-motion video reproduction system employing a helical-scan VTR generates write-in address data synchronized to the reproduced digital data and stores the digital data in a digital memory in accordance with the generated write-in address. When the reproducing head jumps vertically, i.e. perpendicular to the data track, the currently-generated write-in address is latched. In response to a reference signal, the latched data is transferred to a read-out address counter for generating a read-out line address, and the stored video signal is then read out of the digital memory under control of the read-out address data.

Disclosed is a digital time-base corrector (TBC) capable of correcting not only time-base fluctuation (jitter) but also a time-base change contained in a VTR-reproduced television video signal which experiences large changes in the horizontal scanning period during, for example, special-motion reproduction. The leading edge of a horizontal sync pulse is delayed by a variable delay means, and gate pulse is produced from the delayed leading edge and non-delayed trailing edge of the sync pulse. The delay time is controlled in response to the pulse width of the gate pulse. A burst gate pulse is produced from the trailing edge of the gate pulse. The burst gate pulse gates the video signal to extract a color burst, which is used to produce a clock pulse. The video signal is converted into a digital signal and stored in a digital memory in response to the clock pulse.

Digital time-base corrector having a wide correction range

An improved phase locking system in which an independently reproduced video signal is coded into a digitized video signal in response to a first clock pulse train, the first clock pulse train being produced from a synchronizing signal and/or a color burst signal contained in the video signal. The digitized video signal is stored and storage location as well as delay prior to storage is controlled in response to the phase difference between the synchronizing signal and a reference signal. The improved phase locking system reduces the frequency of occurence of visual shifts on the reproduced television picture.

Phase locking system for television signals

A digital time base corrector for correcting a time-base error in a television video signal, the video signal including a horizontal synchronizing signal and a color burst signal. The start of a write-in clock pulse oscillator is determined by a one-cycle portion of the color burst signal which has been extracted from the video signal in a prefixed phase relationship with the horizontal synchronizing signal. Oscillation frequency control at the write-in clock pulse oscillator is performed in response to the phase deviation of the write-in clock pulse from the extracted one-cycle burst signal portion. Phase-locking of the write-in clock pulse oscillator is performed in response to the phase difference, from the extracted one-cycle burst portion, of a selected one of first and second pulses, the first pulse occurring at the rate of the subcarrier signal and the second pulse occurring at the rate of the horizontal synchronizing pulse. Both pulses are obtained from the write-in clock pulse. The present invention adapts the time-base corrector to allow broader phase fluctuations of the write-in clock pulse with respect to the color burst and the horizontal synchronizing signal of the incoming video signal.
