Herein is described a liquid electrophotographic a printing apparatus comprising: a photoconductor; a liquid electrophotographic ink developer unit for applying liquid electrophotographic ink to the photoconductor; a cleaner roller contactable with the photoconductor, the cleaner roller comprising an open-celled foam material having thereon a coating comprising abrasive particles and a binder. Also described herein is a cleaner roller for cleaning a liquid electrophotographic printing apparatus' photoconductor and a method of operating a liquid electrophotographic printing apparatus using a cleaner roller described herein.

Cleaner rollers and cleaning electrophotographic photoconductors

In an example, a method includes rotating a print apparatus component to be cleaned about a first rotational axis. A cleaning element having a cleaning surface in contact with the print apparatus component may be driven such that the cleaning surface has a component of motion which is parallel to the first rotational axis in a contact region. A relative velocity of the cleaning element and the print apparatus component may be varied during a cleaning operation.

There is provided a sponge cleaning roller for cleaning an electrophotographic printing drum, the sponge of the cleaning roller having a Shore 00 hardness of about 9 or greater and a porosity of about 38 ppi or greater.

The present disclosure relates to an electrophotographic printer comprising a photoconductive cylinder, and a cleaning element comprising an absorbent foam substrate. The absorbent foam substrate has an abrasive material disposed on at least an outer surface of the absorbent foam substrate. At least part of the outer surface of the absorbent foam substrate is engageable with the photoconductive cylinder.

Electrophotographic printer having a cleaning element

Described herein is a two-component coating system. The two-component coating system may include a base component and a hardener component. The base component may include: up to 55 wt. % hydroxyl terminated polyester and/or hydroxyl terminated polyether; up to 3 wt. % hydroxyl terminated polysiloxane; and a solvent selected from aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters and combinations thereof, wherein the hydroxyl terminated polyester and/or hydroxyl terminated polyether and the hydroxyl terminated polysiloxane are dissolved in the solvent. The hardener component may include: up to 80 wt. % polyisocyanate; and a solvent selected from aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters and combinations thereof, wherein the polyisocyanate is dissolved in the solvent.

Coating system

Examples provide inkjet ink sets and related methods. An ink set may include a pre-treatment fixing fluid, an ink, and a post-treatment fluid including a wax and a binder present in the post-treatment fluid in a range of about 10 weight percent to about 30 weight percent.
