Disclosed is a mobile terminal, including a body including a first frame and a second frame slidably movably coupled to the first frame in first or second direction, a flexible display unit including a side face portion surrounding one side of the body, and a driver. A rear face of the first frame includes a first rear face exposed to the rear face of the first frame in the second state and a second rear surface that remains overlapping with the second frame in the second state. The driver includes a motor installed in the second frame, a pinion gear configured to rotate upon receiving a rotational force of the motor, and a rack gear fastened to the second rear surface of the first frame and configured to be extended along the first direction and to move linearly in engagement with the pinion gear.

Mobile terminal

A mobile terminal comprises a first frame, a second frame capable of slidably moving from the first frame in a first direction or a second direction which is an opposite direction of the first direction, and a driving unit slidably moving the second frame, wherein the driving unit includes a motor coupled to the first frame, a pinion gear rotated by a rotational force transferred from the motor, a gear rack extended in the first direction and coupled to the second frame, moving in the first direction or the second direction when the pinion gear is rotated, a guide rail coupled with the gear rack, and a guide block coupled to the first frame, moving along the guide rail.

The present disclosure provides a display unit including: a flexible display formed to be elastically deformable; and a flexible portion comprising a flexible frame coupled to the rear surface of the flexible display, wherein the flexible frame is configured to have first holes repeatedly formed therethrough such that the flexible frame can be bent maximally to a first curvature; and a rigid portion disposed on at least one side of the flexible portion, wherein the flexible frame is made of a titanium material.

There is disclosed a double hinge module comprising a first rotary cam which is rotatable on a first shaft; a first coupling slot extended from one end of the first rotary cam in a direction which gets farther from the first shaft; a second rotary cam which is rotatable on the second shaft parallel with the first shaft in the reverse direction of the first rotary cam; a second coupling slot extended from one end of the second rotary cam which gets farther from the second shaft; and a link having one end coupled to the first coupling slot and the other end coupled to the second coupling slot, wherein when the first rotary cam and the second rotary cam are rotating, the link is linearly movable in parallel with a central line connecting the first shaft and the second shaft with each other, so that the double hinge module may fold the mobile terminal from 0&#xb0; to 180&#xb0; naturally like a book.
