An electrolyte capable of lip roving the stability of a lithium-metal battery is provided. The electrolyte includes an organic solvent, a cosolvent, which is different from the organic solvent and includes a fluorine-based compound, and an additive having a lower lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) value than the organic solvent.

The present disclosure relates to a primer set for preparation of a library used for next generation sequencing (NGS), and a method and a kit for making an NGS library using the same. The method for making the next generation sequencing (NGS) library using the primer set according to the present disclosure is able to simply analyze large amounts of samples as compared to the existing method for making a library, which is effectively usable for analysis of target DNA sequences or for database construction, in large amounts of samples.

Disclosed are methods and kits for controlling the length of overhangs at the ends of double stranded DNA based on a competitive inhibition. Further provided are ligase-independent methods for joining the two ends of DNA strands using the same. The present methods efficiently control the overhangs of ds DNA. This user-controlled overhangs supply a tool for efficient ligation in a ligase independent way and can be advantageously used in DNA recombinant technology such as cloning gene or DNA fragments of interest or PCR products.
