A display device and an operating method of the display device are provided. The display device includes a first light emitting diode (LED), a first switch, a second switch, a second LED, a third switch, and a first controller. A first terminal of the first switch receives a first electrical signal. A first terminal of the second switch receives a second electrical signal. A first terminal of the third switch receives a third electrical signal. Here, whether the first switch, the second switch, and the third switch are switched on or off is determined by whether the first LED and the second LED are damaged or not. The first controller is configured to detect whether the first LED and the second LED are damaged or not, generate the second electrical signal and the electrical signal, and generate a plurality of control signals controlling the first switch to the third switch.

Display device and operating method thereof

A display module including display pixels, driving circuit and first switches is provided. The display pixels are arranged in columns and rows in the display area, and every display pixel includes sub-pixels. The display pixels form pixel rows along the first direction, and the sub-pixels of the display pixels form sub-pixel columns along the second direction. The color of the light emitting from the sub-pixels of the same sub-pixel column are substantially the same. The first direction and the second direction are substantially perpendicular. The driving circuit includes signal connectors, and every signal connector connects one of the pixel rows. The first switch is connected between a power source and one of the pixel rows, transmitting driving signal. The first switch is controlled by the driving circuit. A display device and a driving method are also provided.

Display module with high resolution grayscale, display device, and driving method thereof

A spliced unit including a substrate, a circuit unit, and light-emitting units is provided. The substrate includes a first part having a first bottom surface and a first top surface opposite to the first bottom surface, and a second part having a second bottom surface and a second top surface opposite to the second bottom surface. There is a height difference between the first bottom surface of the first part and the second bottom surface of the second part. The circuit unit is disposed on the first top surface. The light-emitting units are disposed in the second part of the substrate. In a direction of a normal line perpendicular to the substrate, the first part of the substrate and the second part of the substrate are not overlapped, and the circuit unit and the light-emitting units are not overlapped. A spliced panel including the spliced units is also provided.

A pixel circuit includes a first lighting circuit, a second lighting circuit, and a compensation circuit. A first light emitting element of the first lighting circuit receives a first driving current when the first transistor switch of the first lighting circuit is turned on. The second light emitting element of the second light emitting circuit receives a second driving current when the second transistor switch of the second light emitting circuit is turned on. When the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element are driven by the first driving current and the second driving current, the compensation circuit provides a compensation current to the first light emitting element or the second light emitting element according to a difference in impedance between the first light emitting circuit and the second light emitting circuit.

Pixel circuit and repair method thereof

A display method includes: receiving an input signal; performing a color separation process on the input image to generate color information and an intensity image; performing a filtering process on the intensity image to generate an intensity coarse image and an edge image; generating a color coarse image according to the intensity coarse image and the color information; performing a pure color analysis on the color coarse image to generate a first pure color coarse image, a second pure color coarse image and a third pure color coarse image; and displaying the first pure color coarse image, the second pure color coarse image, the third pure color coarse image and the edge image in a first time period, a second time period, a third time period and a fourth time period respectively.

Display method

A display method adapted to a display device. The display method includes: displaying first, second and third color fields respectively in first, second and third time periods such that each pixel have a background color; determining, from the pixels, multiple color breakup pixels according to the second color field of each pixel, the first color field of a first peripheral pixel of each pixel, the third color field of a second peripheral pixel of each pixel, and the background color of each pixel; calculating a color breakup color of each color breakup pixel; calculating a compensation color of each color breakup pixel according to the background color and the color breakup color of the color breakup pixel; and displaying a fourth color field in a fourth time period. For each color breakup pixel, the compensation color is displayed in the fourth color field.
