A battery module includes: a cell cover close to a battery cell and having one surface emitting heat of the battery cell; and a cooling channel portion having a cooling channel that a refrigerant flows formed therein and having one surface of the cooling channel close to the one surface of the cell cover to absorb heat of the battery cell. In a contact region of the cell cover and the cooling channel portion, the cell cover has a protrusion portion protruded in the direction of the cooling channel, and the cooling channel has a penetration hole for inserting the protrusion portion into an inner portion that the refrigerant flows.

Battery module

A battery cooling device for a vehicle is provided. The device repeats phase changes of a refrigerant to cool a battery due to heat of vaporization when a liquid-state refrigerant is vaporized by thermally coming in contact with a battery heat source. The vaporized refrigerant is changed back into a liquid state by thermally coming in contact with a separate coolant. The effect of cooling all battery cells is maximized throughout the entire refrigerant channel for cooling a battery and the battery cells are cooled uniformly.

A battery pack structure of a vehicle, may include a cell module assembly formed by stacking a plurality of cell modules, end plates coupled to both side end portions of the cell module assembly, and support plates coupled to the top and the bottom of the cell module assembly and both side end portions of the end plates to bring the cell modules in contact with each other.

A vehicle battery case is provided. The battery case includes a lower panel and at least one transverse member that is disposed on the lower panel to increase transverse rigidity. Additionally, at least one longitudinal member is disposed on the lower panel to increase longitudinal rigidity, and a sidewall member is attached to an upper surface of the lower panel along a rim of the lower panel.

Vehicle battery case

A high voltage battery apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The battery apparatus is installed in a lower portion of the vehicle and includes a plurality of battery modules and a cooling unit that has a plurality of cavities in which the battery modules are inserted and fixed. The cooling unit has a hollow portion through which cooling water flows, thereby cooling the battery modules using the cooling water.

A high voltage battery is provided and includes a battery module that has a plurality of battery cells and covers disposed between the battery cells and a plurality of mounting members that fix the battery module to a vehicle body. The covers absorb heat energy between the battery cells and discharge the heat energy between the mounting members. In addition, a cooling block is disposed between the mounting members and has a coolant flowing therein which exchanges heat with the battery cells. Therefore, cooling performance of the battery is improved using a water cooling structure, a height of the mounting members integrating the battery modules with each other is secured to increase structure rigidity and a height of a case of the battery is minimized, thereby improving volume energy density of the battery and preventing generation of a high voltage short-circuit even though the coolant leaks during a vehicle collision.
