An electrode loss measuring apparatus includes an electrode which moves in a roll-to-roll state between an unwinder and a rewinder and on which a plurality of reference points are marked at predetermined intervals. The apparatus further includes a reference point detector configured to detect the reference points marked on the electrode, a position measurer configured to derive a position value of the electrode according to a rotation amount of the unwinder or the rewinder and a position value of the corresponding reference point in conjunction with the reference point detector when the reference point detector detects the reference point, and a calculator configured to calculate a loss amount of the electrode by comparing the derived position value of the reference point with a position value of a set reference point when an interval between the reference points is changed due to a loss of a portion of the electrode.

A systems and methods for tracking a position of an electrode. The system may include: a notching controller configured to store pitch information of a unit electrode and to acquire electrode coordinate information of the electrode in a roll-to-roll state during a notching process and a cell identification (ID) of the unit electrode; a calculator configured to calculate coordinates of the cell ID from the pitch information and the cell ID; a roll map generator configured to generate a roll map based on the electrode coordinate information transmitted from the notching controller; and a mapping part configured to compare the coordinates of the roll map with the coordinates of the cell ID to derive an electrode position of the electrode during the electrode manufacturing process from which the unit electrode originates.

An apparatus for generating a roll map of a merge-wound electrode includes a position measurement device configured to acquire coordinate value data for a longitudinal position of a merged-wound electrode, an input device configured to input an input signal indicating a start of merge-winding or an end of merge-winding, a seam detector configured to detect a seam and acquire electrode coordinate values of the seam, and a reference point detector configured to detect reference points of the merge-wound electrode and acquire electrode coordinate values of the reference points. A roll map for simulating the merge-wound electrode is generated based on the input signal of the input device, the electrode coordinate values of the seam, and the electrode coordinate values of the reference points of the merge-wound electrode.

An electrode sheet inspection system includes an inspection unit configured to inspect the external state of an electrode sheet and an ink marking unit configured to mark a portion to be removed on the electrode sheet, wherein the ink marking unit is configured to adjust an ink marking range, whereby it is possible to prevent removal of a mark on a defective portion of an electrode even after a process of notching the electrode sheet. Disclosed herein are a method for welding electrode taps of a secondary battery which improves insulation defects generated during welding between the electrode taps and lead parts and an electrode assembly manufactured thereby. A method for preparing acrylic acid, more specifically, to a method for preparing acrylic acid under a neutral condition at high yield in a short time without using a base, unlike the prior art in which a base is essentially used. The acrylic acid is produced using a supported catalyst having a specific composition when preparing acrylic acid by oxidation of allyl alcohol. Particularly, the preparation method can recover acrylic acid rather than acrylic acid salt as a final product, and thus has an advantage that the overall process cost can be reduced by eliminating essential processes in the prior art, such as ion exchange after the acidification process required for the conversion of acrylic acid salt to acrylic acid.

The present invention relates to a sealing tool for a pouch type secondary battery, which seals a pouch provided with an electrode assembly therein, the sealing tool including: a holder elevatably disposed on each of upper and lower sides of the pouch; and a sealing block coupled to the holder to contact the pouch by the elevation of the holder, thereby sealing the pouch. The sealing block and the holder are spaced apart from each other to define a space therebetween. According to the present invention, a spacing member is interposed between the holder and the sealing block of the sealing tool to define a space into which the sealing block is deformable, thereby minimizing the deformation of a sealing surface of the sealing block. Thus, the sealing part of the pouch may have a uniform thickness to prevent an electrolyte within the pouch from leaking to the outside.
