A display device includes: pixels in an active area, each of the pixels being electrically connected to a corresponding data line and a corresponding scan line; and a dummy pixel adjacent to at least one of the pixels, and electrically connected to the corresponding scan line and a sensing line. Each of the pixels and the dummy pixel includes: a light emitting element including a first electrode electrically connected to a first node, a second electrode, and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode; a first transistor; a second transistor; a third transistor; a first capacitor; a fourth transistor; a fifth transistor; and a second capacitor. The dummy pixel further includes a sensing transistor electrically connected between the sensing line and the first node.

Display device and method of driving display device

A display device includes a display panel including, a driving transistor configured to generate driving current, a light emitting element configured to emit light based on the driving current and an initialization transistor configured to apply an initialization voltage to an output electrode of the driving transistor, a sensing driver configured to generate sensing data by receiving the driving current of the pixels through initialization transistors and a driving controller configured to generate accumulated image data by accumulating input image data for frames and to compensate for the input image data based on the accumulated image data and the sensing data.

Display device and method of driving the same

A data driving circuit includes: a reference voltage generator that receives a data control signal and generates a gamma reference voltage and a test reference voltage, a data driving unit that outputs a data signal for a pixel based on the gamma reference voltage, and an output circuit that outputs a test data voltage for a dummy pixel based on the test reference voltage.
