An active material recovery apparatus capable of easily recovering an electrode active material from an electrode scrap in its intrinsic shape and a positive electrode active material reuse method using the active material recovery apparatus are provided. The active material recovery apparatus which is a rotary firing apparatus comprising a rod in a screw type therein includes a heat treatment bath and a screening wall arranged in a line along an axis of the rod, wherein the heat treatment bath constitutes a heating zone, and the screening wall constitutes a cooling zone; and an exhaust injection and degassing system, wherein the heat treatment bath removes a binder and a conductive material in an active material layer by performing heat treatment on an electrode scrap comprising the active material layer on a current collector in an air while rotating the electrode scrap around the axis of the rod and separates the current collector from the active material layer, and an active material in the active material layer passes through the screening wall and is recovered as an active material in powder form, and the current collector that does not pass through the screening wall is recovered separately.

Apparatus for recovering active material and method for reusing active material by using same

There is provided a method for collecting and reusing an active material from positive electrode scrap. The positive electrode active material reuse method of the present disclosure includes (a) thermally treating positive electrode scrap comprising a lithium composite transition metal oxide positive electrode active material layer on a current collector in air at 300 to 650° C. for 1 hour or less for thermal decomposition of a binder and a conductive material in the active material layer, to separate the current collector from the active material layer, and collecting an active material in the active material layer, and (b) annealing the collected active material with an addition of a lithium precursor to obtain a reusable active material.

Active material reuse method using cathode scrap

There is provided a method for collecting and reusing an active material from positive electrode scrap. The positive electrode active material reuse method of the present disclosure includes (a) thermally treating positive electrode scrap comprising an active material layer on a current collector in air for thermal decomposition of a binder and a conductive material in the active material layer, to separate the current collector from the active material layer, and collecting an active material in the active material layer, (b) washing the collected active material using a lithium precursor aqueous solution which is basic in an aqueous solution and drying, and (c) annealing the washed active material to obtain a reusable active material.

Method for reusing active material using positive electrode scrap

There is provided a method for collecting and reusing an active material from positive electrode scrap. The method for reusing a positive electrode active material of the present disclosure includes (a) thermally treating positive electrode scrap comprising an active material layer on a current collector in air for thermal decomposition of a binder and a conductive material in the active material layer, to separate the current collector from the active material layer, and collecting an active material in the active material layer, (b-1) washing the active material collected from the step (a) with a lithium compound solution which is basic in an aqueous solution, (b-2) mixing the active material washed from the step (b-1) with a lithium precursor aqueous solution and spray drying, and (c) annealing the active material spray dried from the step (b-2) to obtain a reusable active material.

Method of making a reusable active material by using positive electrode scrap

The present disclosure relates to a lithium electrode, comprising a porous metallic current collector; and lithium metal inserted into pores present in the metallic current collector. The lithium electrode according to the present disclosure can increase contact surface between lithium metal and a current collector to improve the performances of a lithium secondary battery, and can exhibit uniform electron distribution therein to prevent the growth of lithium dendrites during the operation of a lithium secondary battery, thereby improving the safety of a lithium secondary battery.

Provided are a paste for preparing etching mask patterns and a manufacturing method of a silicon solar cell using the same. The paste composition for preparing mask patterns is used to form a selective emitter of a silicon solar cell, and includes inorganic powder, an organic solvent, a binder resin, and a plasticizer. The mask patterns prepared from the paste composition have good adhesion with a substrate, thereby preventing edge curling, and have good etching resistant characteristic in an etch-back process for forming a selective emitter, enabling formation of a stable emitter.

Paste for preparing mask patterns and manufacturing method of solar cell using the same

Disclosed are a paste and a method for manufacturing a solar cell through screen printing said paste. The paste contains inorganic powder; an organic solvent; and a binder, and the inorganic powder has a tap density of 0.01 to 20 g/cm. An etching mask pattern formed using said paste has good etch resistance in an etch-back process by which a selective emitter is formed, and thus, a stable emitter can be formed.

Disclosed are lead free glass frit powder for manufacturing a silicon solar cell, its producing method, a metal paste composition containing the same and a silicon solar cell. The lead free glass frit powder for manufacturing a silicon solar cell includes BiO; BO; and any one metal oxide selected from the group consisting of ZnO, AlOand BaCO, or mixtures thereof. The glass frit powder is free of lead, and thus, it is environmental friendly. A front electrode of a solar cell formed using the glass frit powder has low resistance against contact with a substrate and high adhesion to the substrate.
