A display device according to embodiments of the disclosure includes a base layer, a pixel layer disposed on the base layer and including a light emitting element and a light receiving element, an encapsulation layer covering the pixel layer, a black matrix disposed on the encapsulation layer and including a first opening disposed in a region corresponding to the light receiving element and a second opening disposed in a region corresponding to the light emitting element, a color filter disposed on the black matrix, a refractive layer disposed on the color filter and including a first refractive layer including a third opening disposed in a region corresponding to the first opening and a second refractive layer covering the first refractive layer, and a window disposed on the refractive layer. A cross section of the third opening has a first inclined surface.

Display device including a photo sensor

A display device includes: a display panel including a light emitting element and a photosensitive element; an input sensor comprising a sensing electrode on the display panel; and an anti-reflection layer on the input sensor. The anti-reflection layer includes: a light shielding pattern having a first opening corresponding to the light emitting element and a second opening corresponding to the photosensitive element. The sensing electrode includes a plurality of line portions, the plurality of line portions includes a first line portion overlapping the light shielding pattern and arranged between the first opening and the second opening on a plane. A distance between the first line portion and an edge of the second opening is less than a distance between the first line portion and an edge of the first opening.

A display device includes: a display panel including a pixel having an emissive area, and a sensor having a sensing area; and an anti-reflection layer on the display panel, the anti-reflection layer including: a light blocking layer having a first opening overlapping with the emissive area, a second opening overlapping with the sensing area, and an intermediate opening between the first opening and the second opening; a color filter covering the first opening; an over-coating layer on the light blocking layer, and covering the color filter; and a light blocking pattern on the over-coating layer, and overlapping with an area between the intermediate opening and the first opening.

A display device includes a base layer, and a pixel layer disposed on the base layer. The pixel layer includes reference pixel units and photo-sensing elements. Each of the reference pixel units includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, and a third light-emitting element. A method of manufacturing a polarizing plate includes fabricating a base film, dyeing the base film by using iodine, stretching the base film to form a polarizing film, firstly drying the polarizing film at a first temperature, and secondly drying the polarizing film while sequentially increasing a temperature from the first temperature to a second temperature higher than the first temperature. The polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display including the same are manufactured through the above method.

A three-dimensional image display apparatus includes a display panel configured to display an image and a shutter panel configured to separate the image into a left-eye image and a right-eye image. The shutter panel includes a first thin-film substrate disposed adjacent to the display panel, a second thin-film substrate facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate is disposed between the second substrate and the display panel.
