The present invention relates to a new conceptual pedestal type dryer which serves both as a pedestal of a washing machine or dryer, and a dryer, and particularly, to a pedestal type dryer with a PTC heater. The pedestal type dryer includes a container having a space formed therein for holding a drying object, and a top provided to install a laundry dryer, or a washing machine, and a hot air supply unit having a fan for blowing air, and a PTC heater, for supplying hot air to the space for holding the drying object.

The present invention relates to a stator of an electric motor and a washing machine having the same, wherein the stator includes a stator core of a stack of bases each with a plurality of poles, an insulator having an upper insulator and a lower insulator fastened to the stator core, a plurality of fastening portions each having a fastening hole for fastening the stator, and a plurality of connection portions each having a plurality of vertical ribs for connecting the insulator to each of the fastening portions, wherein the insulator, the fastening portions, and the connection portions are injection molded as one unit, with the stator core inserted thereto.

A stator of an outer rotor type motor is provided. The stator may include a helical core having stacked layers formed by winding a single metal sheet having a predetermined shape in a helical direction, a base and teeth that protrude from the base. The stator may also include an insulator made of electrical insulation material that surrounds the helical core, recesses formed in the base of the helical core that reduce stress due to the winding of the single metal sheet and disposed under the teeth, and auxiliary recesses formed in a bottom of the recesses.

A stator core is disclosed. The stator core is constructed in a structure in which stress and spring back of the stator core are minimized when a stator is manufactured in a spiral fashion, whereby workability is improved. The stator core includes a yoke formed in the shape of a band, a plurality of teeth protruding outward from one side of the yoke, the teeth being arranged at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the yoke, a plurality of notches formed at the inside of the yoke in the shape of a cutout such that the notches are arranged at equal intervals, and guide holes formed in the longitudinal direction of the yoke. The guide holes include holes formed at positions corresponding to the respective teeth and holes formed between the respective teeth.
