A display device is provided. The display device includes a display panel, a scaler integrated circuit, and a backlight device. The backlight device includes N light zones for providing a backlight to the display panel, wherein N is a positive integer. The backlight device lights each of the N light zones in a time-sharing manner in each of a plurality of scan periods. Each of the scan periods has a time length greater than or equal to a time length of a video active data period of the display panel. A continuous lighting time length of each of the N light zones is less than or equal to a quotient of the time length of the video active data period divided by N.

Backlight device, operation method and display device for reducing motion blur

An image display device is provided. The image display device includes a display unit and a backlight module. The display unit is used for displaying pictures in an image frame cycle. The backlight module includes a plurality of light sources of different colors. The image frame cycle is divided into a first interval, a second interval and a third interval in sequence, and the second interval is adjacent to the first interval. The backlight module provides a white light source with a first intensity in the first interval and provides a white light source with a second intensity in the second interval, and the second intensity is smaller than the first intensity. The backlight module is turned off in the third interval.

The application discloses an image display device and a control method thereof. The control method for the image display device includes: receiving a first image signal from a host and displaying a frame, a first frame data of the first image signal having a first frequency; determining that the image display device enters a Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) mode and writing a double frequency of a vertical synchronous signal into a storage unit; and informing the host to read the storage unit and alternatively outputting a second frame data and a black-insertion frame data from the host, the second frame data having a second frequency higher than the first frequency.

Image display device and control method for motion blur reduction thereof

A display method includes selecting a display mode from a plurality of display modes, acquiring a data clock signal having a data period including a pixel active interval and a blank interval, and setting waveforms of a backlight driving signal within the pixel active interval and the blank interval according to the display mode in order to meet a motion blur effect corresponding to the display mode. A power ratio of the backlight driving signal within the blank interval to the backlight driving signal within the pixel active interval determines the motion blur effect. The waveforms of the backlight driving signal within the pixel active interval and the blank interval are different.

Display method and display system for adjusting motion blur under various display modes

An anti-flicker and motion-blur improvement method includes selecting one of display modes, obtaining a vertical synchronization signal and a data clock signal, and setting waveforms of a backlight driving signal in a vertical blanking interval and a data scan interval according to the display mode to make a motion blur effect correspond to the display mode. A voltage regulation signal is generated according to the display mode. A duty cycle of the voltage regulation signal is set as a first duty cycle in a dynamic image display mode. The duty cycle of the voltage regulation signal is set as a second duty cycle in a still image display mode. A backlight driving current corresponding to the backlight driving signal is generated via the voltage regulation signal. A current setting port generates a constant current. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the motion blur phenomenon by simplifying the backlight control circuit.

A display method for reducing motion blur in a video is provided. The display method includes the following steps. Receive a video signal including multiple frames. Display the multiple frames sequentially in multiple frame intervals on a display panel, wherein each frame interval includes a vertical blanking interval and a data scan interval. Provide a backlight enable signal in each frame interval to control turning on and turning off of a backlight unit for the display panel. The backlight enable signal includes a first enable pulse and a blanking enable pulse. The first enable pulse is in the data scan interval. The blanking enable pulse is in the vertical blanking interval. The backlight unit is turned on during the first enable pulse and the blanking enable pulse.

Display method and device for reducing motion blur

A wireless charging guide system includes a wireless charging cradle, an electronic device and a visual guide medium. The electronic device includes a power storage unit and a charging unit. The display driving circuit drives the display panel to display the multiple image frames sequentially in multiple frame intervals each including a vertical blanking interval and a data scan interval. A display method for reducing motion blur in a video is provided. The display method includes the following steps. Receive a video signal including multiple frames. A signal detection method is provided. The signal detection method for an electronic device having a plurality of terminals to receive signals from a plurality of sources corresponding to the terminals, includes the following steps: providing a sequence index for each terminal; providing a plurality of weighting numbers for the electronic device; comparing the sequence indexes of the terminals to determine a terminal detection sequence when the electronic device is turned on or the signal source changes; detecting the terminals according to the detection sequence; adding one of the weighting number to the sequence index of the terminal with signal traffic. The detection sequence begins at the terminal with a largest sequence index and ends at the terminal with a smallest sequence index.

The method first receives a line rate, a frame rate, and a horizontal total of an electronic display device to calculate candidate resolutions. A horizontal display of the electronic display device is then received. Next, a horizontal blank is calculated according to the line rate and the horizontal display. An adjustment method for application to the electronic display device is determined according to the horizontal blank. Finally, an optimum resolution is selected from the candidate resolutions according to the determined adjustment method.

A method for adjusting attributes of a video signal within a system is disclosed. The system includes a display device and a host. The display device has a first signal attribute specification, and the video signal has a second signal attribute specification. The first step of this method is to output a video signal from the host. The display device responds with a status signal to the host according to the first and the second signal attribute specifications. Afterward, the host can modify the attributes of the video signal according to the status signal.

A monitor with an adjustable angle and operating method thereof. The monitor includes a rotation component to control display angle, an OSD (On Screen Display) module, a microprocessor and a motor. The OSD module provides an interface from which a target angle can be selected, and the OSD module transmits a first control signal corresponding to the target angle to the microprocessor.
