A touch display apparatus for sensing a touch of a user and/or a tool is provided. The touch display apparatus includes upper electrodes on emission areas. The upper electrodes may be separated by a separating partition on a separating area and a second opening of a bank insulating layer. Each of the upper electrodes may be connected to one of link wires, which are disposed between a device substrate and the bank insulating layer. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, a process for sensing the touch of the user and/or the tool may be simplified, and a process efficiency may be improved.

A liquid crystal display panel and a fabricating method thereof for preventing a generation of stains caused by a cell gap difference between an active area and an outside area are disclosed. In the liquid crystal display panel, an adhesive is placed between an upper substrate and a lower substrate that are closed in such a manner as to join an upper substrate from a lower substrate. A liquid crystal layer is provided at a closed area defined by the adhesive by a dropping system. A first pattern spacer is positioned at an active area between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. A second pattern spacer is provided such that an outside area thereof enclosing said active area has a different arrangement density from the first pattern spacer and is provided at the same plane as the first pattern spacer.

An LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) includes a first panel having a first resolution; a second panel having a second resolution, the second resolution lower than the first resolution; and a compensation pattern on an array substrate of the second panel for maintaining a cell gap. According to the present invention, though a color filter layer of the second panel having the lower resolution has a lower thickness, a uniform cell gap can be maintained.

Liquid crystal display and fabrication method thereof

A liquid crystal display device, and its fabrication method, having reduced picture quality deterioration and shorts. A thin film transistor is provided at intersections of gate and data lines. A pixel electrode connects to the thin film transistor. A storage electrode overlaps part of a gate line and extends along data lines. That storage electrode is overlapped by part of the pixel electrode. Channels are defined between the storage electrode and the data lines. A constant gap between the pixel electrodes and the data lines prevent a deterioration of picture quality and shorts between adjacent pixel electrodes and between the storage electrode and the data lines.
