A trunk latch module for a vehicle may include a base plate, a first locking groove for insertion of a striker into the first locking groove, a main gear rotatably combined with the base plate at a position above the first locking groove, the main gear being supplied with power of a motor, a claw rotatably combined with the base plate, with a second locking groove provided at a first end of the claw, and with a stop protrusion provided on an outer surface of a second end of the claw, a link assembly combined with the main gear, the link assembly transmitting power to the claw by operating in conjunction with rotation of the main gear, a claw-locking assembly locking or releasing the claw by using power transmitted from the link assembly, and a guide lever guiding rotation directions of the link assembly and the claw-locking assembly.

An apparatus for opening and closing a tailgate for a vehicle includes a latch device provided in the tailgate and an actuator. The latch device includes a claw to engage with a striker provided at a vehicle body side, a pawl to engage with the claw to maintain the claw in a locked position, and an unlocking lever to operate the pawl to unlock the claw. The actuator includes a cinching/release lever to selectively operate a cinching cable connected to the claw to rotate the claw from an unlocked position to the locked position, and a release cable connected to the unlocking lever to operate the claw from the locked position to the unlocked position.

An apparatus for opening and closing a trunk for a vehicle, may include a motor unit equipped with a motor, an inner tube provided outside the motor unit to surround the motor unit, with a plurality of protrusions protruding from an outer circumference of the inner tube, an outer tube provided outside the inner tube to surround the inner tube and including a threaded groove being indented along an inner circumference of the outer tube, a bar-shaped spindle having a threaded portion on an outer circumference thereof, and coupled to the motor unit to cause the threaded portion of the spindle to engage with the threaded groove of the outer tube when the motor may be rotated, thus allowing the spindle to perform translation simultaneously with rotation, and an elastic member-wound on an outer circumference of the outer tube.

A sequential-scanning process with motion information that compensates for inadequate motion estimation and motion compensation that would otherwise cause degradation of images, by correctly detecting errors arising from operations of motion estimation and compensation. Horizontal and vertical (filtered) patterns of each of motion-compensated (MC) and spatial-interpolated (SI) images are compared.
