A ceramic electronic component includes a body including a dielectric layer and an internal electrode; and an external electrode disposed on the body and connected to the internal electrode. The dielectric layer has a perovskite structure represented by a general formula ABOas a main phase, and includes a region in which Dy is dissolved. In the region in which Dy is dissolved, an atomic ratio of a content of Dy dissolved in an A-site of the perovskite structure to a content of Dy dissolved in a B-site is 1.6 or more and 2.0 or less.

Ceramic electronic component

A ceramic electronic component includes a body including a dielectric layer and an internal electrode; and an external electrode disposed on the body and connected to the internal electrode. The dielectric layer has a perovskite structure represented by a general formula ABOas a main phase, and includes a region in which Dy is solid solubilized. In the region in which the Dy is solid solubilized, an X-ray count of Dy solid-solubilized in an A-site of the perovskite structure measured by using Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (STEM-EDS) is AD, an X-ray count of Dy solid-solubilized in a B-site of the perovskite structure is BD, and an average value of AD/BD is 1.6 or more and 2.0 or less.

Multilayer capacitor and board having the same mounted thereon

A multilayer capacitor includes a capacitor body having an active region and cover layers disposed on upper and lower surfaces of the active region. The active region includes a plurality of dielectric layers and first and second internal electrodes alternately disposed with the plurality of dielectric layers interposed therebetween. The first and second internal electrodes are respectively exposed to opposite surfaces of the capacitor body. First and second external electrodes electrically are connected to the exposed portions of the first and second internal electrodes on the capacitor body, respectively. A phosphor (P) is dispersed among a non-phosphor material in the cover layers of the capacitor body. In some examples, the phosphor (P) has a content of 1 to 2 wt %, based on a total weight of a ceramic powder of the cover layers not including the phosphor (P).

Ceramic composition and multilayer capacitor having the same

There is provided a multilayer ceramic capacitor including: a ceramic body having a plurality of dielectric layers and having first and second end surfaces opposing each other; a first internal electrode formed on each of the dielectric layers, including a first insulating part exposed to the second end surface, and exposed to the first end surface; a second internal electrode disposed to face the first internal electrode, having the dielectric layer interposed therebetween, and exposed to the first and second end surfaces; and a second insulating part formed on an edge of the second internal electrode exposed to the first end surface.
