An LED lighting device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an LED array; a first control unit for controlling the dimming of the LED array; a second control unit for transmitting, to the first control unit, a dimming control signal for controlling the dimming of the LED array; and a transformer comprising a primary coil and a secondary coil spaced apart from each other, wherein the first control unit is connected to the primary coil, the second control unit is connected to the secondary coil, the primary coil and the secondary coil are insulated from each other, the transformer transmits a pulse signal that repeats on/off at predetermined intervals from the first control unit to the second control unit, and, when the pulse signal transmitted from the first control unit to the second control unit via the transformer becomes off, the dimming control signal is transmitted from the second control unit to the first control unit via the transformer and is used to control the dimming of the LED array.

LED lighting device and dimming control method therefor

An embodiment comprises: a board; a light-emitting module including at least one light-emitting element arranged in a first region of the board and a driving element, arranged in a second region of the board, for driving the at least one light-emitting element; a heat-dissipating member disposed below the lower surface of the board; and a heat-dissipating pad disposed between the board and the heat-dissipating member, wherein the heat-dissipating pad comprises: a heat-dissipating plate disposed on the upper surface of the heat-dissipating member; and a protruding part protruding from the upper surface of the heat-dissipating plate and supporting the lower surface of the first region of the board, and the lower surface of the board is spaced apart from the heat-dissipating plate.

An embodiment comprises: a voltage generation unit for providing a direct current signal for driving a light emitting unit; a sensing resistor; and a dimming unit which is connected between the light emitting unit and the sensing resistor and controls a current flowing in the sensing resistor and the light emitting unit, wherein the dimming unit adjusts the level of the direct current signal on the basis of a first sensing voltage as a result of sensing the voltage of a first node where a switch is connected to the light emitting unit, and a second sensing voltage as a result of sensing the voltage of a second node where the switch is connected to the sensing resistor.

One embodiment relates to a device for driving a light emitting diode, the device controlling a plurality of light emitting diode arrays connected in series, and comprising: a rectifying unit for rectifying an alternating current signal so as to output the rectified signal; and a control unit for sensing the level of the rectified signal, comparing the sensed level of the rectified signal with a reference voltage, and aligning a first group among the plurality of light emitting diode arrays and a second group among the plurality of light emitting diode arrays in series or in parallel on the basis of the comparison result, wherein the control unit successively drives the light emitting diode arrays of the first and second groups connected in parallel or successively drives the light emitting diode arrays of the first and second groups connected in series on the basis of the magnitude of the sensed level of the rectified signal.

A control apparatus includes a rectifier for converting an alternating current (AC) signal into a ripple signal by rectifying the AC signal. A ripple signal adjuster reduces a level difference between maximum and minimum levels of the ripple signal, and outputs the resultant ripple signal as a drive signal. A turning-on controller controls turning-on of the light emitting devices in accordance with a level variation of the drive signal.
