A display device includes a panel layer including a display area, a light-blocking layer above the panel layer, and defining a light-blocking area surrounding at least a portion of the display area, and an input-sensing layer between the panel layer and the light-blocking layer, defining a sensing area, and including a first conductive layer including a first constant voltage electrode layer, at least a portion of which being in a non-light-blocking area between the light-blocking area and the display area, a second conductive layer including a second constant voltage electrode layer, at least a portion of which being in the non-light-blocking area, and electrically contacting the first constant voltage electrode layer through first through holes in the non-light-blocking area, and a sensing-insulating layer between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer, and defining the first through holes, wherein distances between adjacent first through holes vary.

Display device

A display panel may include the following elements: a substrate; a first-color filter, which overlaps the substrate and may include a first-color portion and a first-color part; a second-color filter, which may include a second-color portion and a second-color part; a third-color filter, which may include a third-color portion and a third-color part; a light-blocking structure, which may be positioned between the first-color part and the second-color part in a plan view of the display panel and may include the first-color portion, the second-color portion, and the third-color portion, wherein the first-color portion, the second-color portion, and the third-color portion are stacked in a direction perpendicular to the substrate.

Display panel

An LCD includes: pixel electrodes; a common electrode including a plurality of slits; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the pixel electrodes and the common electrode. The plurality of slits include a first slit and a second slit that are disposed adjacent to each other in a first direction. The first slit includes a first central portion and a first extension portion extending from the first central portion toward the second slit, and the second slit includes a second central portion and a first extension portion extending from the second central portion toward the first slit. An end of the first extension portion of the first slit and an end of the first extension portion of the second slit are spaced apart from each other; and disposed, in a staggered manner, on opposite sides of an imaginary center line connecting the first central portion and the second central portion.

Liquid crystal display device

A thin film transistor (TFT) substrate includes a base substrate, a TFT disposed on the base substrate. The TFT includes a gate electrode, a semiconductor layer comprising a channel region, and a source electrode and a drain electrode spaced apart from one another by a length of the channel region. The TFT substrate further includes a gate insulating layer disposed between the gate electrode and the semiconductor layer and a measuring pattern configured to measure a length of the channel region.
