An apparatus for manufacturing a display device, includes: a heater which generates heat; a pressing member which contacts a target object of a display device to transfer the heat to the target object; a body connected to each of the heater and the pressing member and through which the heat from the heater is provided to the pressing member; and a first housing cover extended from the body to surround the pressing member and the body in a plan view. Engagement of the first housing cover with the target object defines an internal space of the first housing cover having a temperature, and measurement by the apparatus, of the temperature of the internal space, controls bonding of layers of the target object to each other.

Display device manufacturing apparatus and method of manufacturing display device using the same

A display device includes a touch panel including touch and pad areas, and a touch printed circuit board including a contact portion in the pad area. The touch panel includes a touch signal line in the pad area, and the touch printed circuit board includes a touch lead signal line in the contact portion and connected to the touch signal line through an anisotropic conductive film. The touch lead signal line includes a first portion having a first width, a second portion having a second width smaller than the first width and a third portion between the first and second portions and having a third width between the first and second widths. An end of the touch signal line is on the first and third portions, and the third portion has a side profile having two or more different slopes.

Display device including touch panel and touch printed circuit board

A liquid crystal display device includes first to fourth pixel electrodes neighbored each other in a first direction, a common electrode at least partially overlapping the first to fourth pixel electrodes, and a first data line and a second data line extended in a second direction different from the first direction, and neighbored each other where the first data line is interposed between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode, the second data line is interposed between the third pixel electrode and the fourth pixel electrode, and at least one slit defined in the common electrode is interposed between the second pixel electrode and the third pixel electrode.

Liquid crystal display device

A display device may include a pixel electrode, a transistor, a first gate line, a second gate line, and a third gate line. The transistor may be electrically connected to the pixel electrode. The first gate line may be electrically connected to the transistor. The second gate line may extend not parallel to the first gate line. The third gate line may overlap the pixel electrode and may extend not parallel to the first gate line. The second gate line or the third gate line may be electrically connected to the first gate line. The pixel electrode may be partially positioned between the second gate line and the third gate line in a plan view of the display device.

A liquid crystal display includes a first gate line and a second gate line extending in a first direction, first to fourth data lines extending in a second direction perpendicularly intersecting the first direction, and a plurality of pixels connected respectively to either the first or second gate line and any one of the first to fourth data lines, where each of the pixels includes a pixel electrode which receives a data signal from the connected one of the first to fourth data lines, a region in which the pixel electrode is disposed includes a first domain and a second domain having average alignment directions of liquid crystal molecules different from each other, and the first gate line overlaps a boundary between the first domain and the second domain.

A liquid crystal display includes: a first substrate, on which pixel regions are defined; a second substrate opposite to the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; gate and data lines on the first substrate and intersecting each other; pixel electrodes on the first substrate in the pixel regions, respectively; and green, blue and red color filters on the second substrate, where the pixel electrodes include first, second and third pixel electrodes, which correspond to the green, blue and red color filters, respectively, each of the first, second and third pixel electrodes includes a stem portion, which is near one of the data lines and extends in an extending direction of the data lines, and branch portions, which are branched off from the stem portion, and the stem portion of the first pixel electrode is near a side of the second pixel electrode.
