An optical fiber connector in accordance with the present invention prevents its components from being assembled incorrectly and comprises a distal housing, a core tube, an extension tube, a spring, a proximal housing and an end tube. The distal housing has a slot. The core tube is mounted longitudinally in the distal housing and has a distal tube and a proximal tube. The extension tube is mounted around and connected to the proximal tube. The spring is mounted around the proximal tube of the core tube and the extension tube. The proximal housing is connected to the distal housing and mounted around the core tube, the extension tube and the spring and has an assembly protrusion that is mounted slidably in the slot to prevent the proximal housing from being connected to the distal housing incorrectly.

Optical fiber connector

An optical fiber connector adapter has a housing, a front sleeve holder, a rear sleeve holder, a sleeve and detachable positioning member. The housing has a cavity, two limiting protrusions and two positioning slots. The cavity and positioning slots are defined in the housing. The limiting protrusions are formed in the cavity. The front and sleeve holders are mounted in the cavity and each has a tube and a mount abutting the limiting protrusions. The sleeve is mounted in the tubes. The detachable positioning member is mounted on the housing and has two stoppers extending respectively the positioning slots to make the mounts clamped between the limiting protrusions and the stoppers. The optical fiber connector adapter with the detachable positioning member may be detached easily to facilitate rework.

Optical fiber connector adapter

An optical fiber connector in accordance with the present invention prevents moisture from entering the optical fiber connector and comprises a core tube, a tightening assembly, a connecting ring, a water-resistant ring, a compressing tube, a water-resistant tube and an end tube. The tightening assembly is mounted tightly on the core tube and comprises a first tightening component and a second tightening component. The connecting ring is mounted on the second tightening component. The annular gasket is mounted on the first tightening component and in the connecting ring. The compressing tube is mounted on the second tightening component. The water-resistant tube is mounted on the compressing tube and the second tightening component. The end tube is mounted on the water-resistant tube.

An optical fiber connector has a rear housing, a reinforcing sleeve and a front housing. The rear housing has a front end, a rear end, a top, a bottom, two opposite sides and two slits longitudinally defined respectively through the top and the bottom at the front end. The reinforcing sleeve is mounted in the rear housing. The front housing is mounted around and the rear housing from the front end of the rear housing and completely covers the slits of the rear housing. The optical fiber connector with the slits has high resistance to the external transverse pulling force and is excellently durable.
