A container is provided for being supported from a rod. The container includes a dispensing end portion defining an opening through which a fluid product can be dispensed from the container interior. The end portion defines a dispensing chamber for holding at least some of the fluid product when the container is disposed with the dispensing end portion hanging downwardly. Two extension portions extend from the dispensing end portion. Each extension portion defines an extension chamber for communicating with the dispensing chamber and for holding some of the product. Each extension portion has at least one projecting portion projecting generally toward a projecting portion of the other extension portion to define a rod-receiving cavity between the extension portions below the projecting portions. The extension portions are each sufficiently flexible to accommodate temporary deflection away from each other as the projecting portions are forced against the rod so that the rod is received in the rod-receiving cavity. The extension portions are sufficiently resilient to return to a less stressed condition closer to each other so as to engage the rod whereby the container hangs from the rod.

A dispensing structure is provided for a container that has an opening from which a product can be dispensed. The structure includes a body for extending around the container opening. The body is provided with a plurality of dispensing apertures. A lid is provided for sealingly occluding the foraminous member and for moving between a closed position and an open position. The lid has two spaced-apart sealing walls for sealing the sides of the body channel over the dispensing apertures.

Multiple-orifice dispensing system with improved seal

A system is provided for holding a dispensing valve that has a peripheral mounting flange and that is operable to discharge the contents from the interior of a container. The system includes a body for extending from the container. The body has a seat for engaging part of the valve mounting flange. The body has a resilient hinge and a protrusion that (1) extends from the hinge, and (2) has an abutment surface. The system includes a retainer for mounting to the body. The retainer has a seat for engaging part of the valve mounting flange. The retainer has a resilient hinge and an engaging member that (1) extends from the retainer hinge, and (2) has an abutment surface. The hinges accommodate deflection of the protrusion and engaging member as the protrusion and engaging member move past each other and establish abutting engagement of the protrusion abutment surface with the engaging member abutment surface as relative movement is effected between the body and retainer so as to clamp the valve mounting flange between the body seat and retainer seat.

A dispensing structure is provided for a container which has first and second storage compartments and first and second discharge openings each separately communicating with one of the first and second storage compartments, respectively. The dispensing structure includes a body for extending from the container. The body has a peripheral wall that defines first and second discharge conduits for communicating with the first and second discharge openings, respectively. The dispensing structure also includes first and second dispensing conduits mounted in the body peripheral wall for tilting movement between (1) a dispensing position in which the first and second dispensing conduits are in fluid communication with the first and second discharge conduits, respectively, and (2) a non-dispensing position. The first and second conduits include, respectively, first and second sealing plugs therein for occluding flow from the first and second discharge conduits, respectively, when the first and second dispensing conduits are in the closed position and for permitting flow from the first and second discharge conduits when the first and second dispensing conduits are in the open position.

Dual stream liquid dispensing structure

A combination of a container and a lid is provided. The container has an inner peripheral surface around an opening to the container interior. The lid is movable between (1) a closed position to cover the opening, and (2) an open position to expose the opening. The lid has (a) a peripheral wall, (b) a peripheral hinge that extends from the wall, (c) a plug seal wall that extends from the peripheral hinge, and (d) a central portion that extends from the plug seal wall. When the lid is in a closed position, the lid is displaceable from an outwardly projecting configuration wherein the plug seal wall is held in a non-sealing condition disengaged from the inner peripheral surface to an inwardly deformed configuration wherein the plug seal wall is held in a sealing condition engaged with the inner peripheral surface.

A drip-free dispensing structure is provided with a body for extending from a container around an opening. The body has a crescent-shaped inner spout. An outer collar is spaced outwardly of the inner spout. A drain-back trough is defined between the inner spout and outer collar. The trough runs from a high point at the front of the structure to a low point on either side and empties into a reservoir defined at the rear of the structure. A notch in the wall of the inner spout permits the collected fluid in the reservoir to flow back into the container when the container is subsequently tilted forwardly to pour liquid from the container.
