A kit for racket game includes a plurality of rubber balloons which can be inflated with water, a net and posts and a plurality of special rackets and a carrier, as well as at least one ball. The rackets have a rigid frame for holding on opposite sides with both hands by the player, the central area lying within the frame being either stringed with elastic strings in the nature of rubber bands or the like, or by an elastic cloth material, or by a rubber sheet or the like having holes cut therethrough to reduce wind resistance.

A container closure includes a cap for sealing a container against leakage, and a brush-like pliable member for spreading contents of the container. The cap includes a top wall, an internally threaded skirt depending from perimetrical portions of the top wall, and a stem depending from a central portion of the top wall. The brush includes a paddle-shaped member or a plurality of bristles which depend below the stem for brushing the contents of the container onto a surface. The cap and the brush are formed as a one-piece structure. A method of forming the one-piece cap and brush includes the step of molding the cap using a specially configured mold which has at least three relatively movable parts for defining a mold cavity and for effecting a pop-off type of ejection of the threaded skirt from the mold once the integral cap and brush have been molded. The brush bristles can have relatively large diameters as molded, and can be elongated after molding as by stretching to reduce their diameters and to give bristles of proper pliability.

An expandable screen assembly for positioning within window openings or the like includes a first frame and a second frame, both frames being identical and adjustably secured to one another in an opposing, adjacent relationship by means of frame clips non-integral with the frames. Both frames are adapted for longitudinal movement relative to another, as well as with the frame clips. The expandable screen in beneficial in preventing insects or the like from penetrating window openings or the like. additionally the frame members include cavities for receiving weatherstripping.

A carry-all with indicia mounting means is disclosed. At least one wall of the carry-all includes indicia bearing region for personalizing and identifying the carry-all. Indicia mounting structure includes upper and a lower indicia securing regions for securing at least one indicia therein. Each indicia is provided with flanged regions for being received within V-shaped channels provided in the indicia securing regions. Indicia is of a semi-flexible plastic material, molded by conventional techniques.

A container closure includes a cap for sealing a container against leakage, and a brush for spreading contents of the container. The cap includes a top wall, an internally threaded skirt depending from perimetrical portions of the top wall, and a stem depending from a central portion of the top wall. The brush includes a plurality of bristles having (1) mounting portions which are secured to the lower end region of the stem, and (2) applicator portions which depend below the stem for brushing the contents of the container onto a surface. The cap is a one-piece structure having its brush-supporting stem formed integrally with other parts of the cap. A method of forming the assembly includes the steps of molding the cap using a specially configured mold which has at least three relatively movable parts for defining a mold cavity and for effecting a pop-off type of ejection of the threaded cap from the mold once the integral cap and stem having been molded, whereafter the brush bristles are inserted into or otherwise secured to the cap's stem.

An improved pile-type, fin weatherstrip includes an elongated V- or U-shaped barrier fin bonded to a base strip and located between a pair of upstanding pile fiber arrays. The barrier fin is formed of thermoplastic film which is preferably smooth, but which may be roughened, dimpled or otherwise provided with a large number of pockets, or which may have a flocked surface. A lubricant grease is provided in the channel shaped cavity of the barrier fin, which lubricant is progressively dispensed in response to a wiping action type of movement which occurs when the barrier fin is compressed by the pile arrays during usage. The lubricant grease is exuded progressively over the useful life of the weatherstrip toward the free edges of the barrier fin located at or near the forward projecting face of the weatherstrip where such grease is dispensed in small amounts to decrease breakaway force, lower sliding friction and improved air infiltration characteristics. The barrier fin may be perforated so that lubricant grease is also forced into the fibers of the pile arrays where it will also work to the surface of the weatherstrip and improve the aforementioned properties.

The constituents of a flow of thermoplastics material or the like are mixed and blended by passing the flow through a mixing structure which defines an array of elongate side-by-side passages. The passages are not all alike in that at least some of them have configurations which taper along their lengths to degrees or in directions that differ from the configurations of others of the passages, whereby the flows of fluid which discharge from the differently configured passages do so at differing velocities. As the discharging flows of differing velocities recombine to form a common flow having a uniform velocity, a desirable type of mixing and blending action results. In preferred practice, adjacent ones of the passages are tapered oppositely along their lengths to converge or diverge such that fluid flowing through the converging passages is caused to increase in velocity, while fluid flowing through the diverging passages is caused to diminish in velocity. An enhanced mixing and blending effect is achieved by positioning a plurality of these mixing structures in series at spaced locations along the fluid flow path. Where the mixing structures are formed from a good heat-conducting material, they may be heated and used in cooperation with heated walls of the body which defines the fluid flow path to heat the material being mixed and blended to achieve a more thorough melting of its constituents.

A pinch cap has a top wall with edge portions which form a circumferentially-extending rim. A pair of spaced, D-shaped, finger-receiving wells open through the top wall. The wells are formed by curved and straight side walls which depend from the top wall, and by a pair of D-shaped bottom walls. Locking formations are provided on the outer faces of the curved side walls for holding the cap in place in a container opening. During insertion of the cap into a container opening, the locking formations engage portions of the container located at spaced positions around the container opening and cause the normal configuration of the cap to distort briefly as is needed to permit the locking formations to pass through the container opening. Removal of the cap from the container opening is effected by pinching the flat side walls toward each other to distort the normal configuration of the cap sufficiently to release the locking formations from retaining engagement with the container, whereafter the cap is lifted out of the container opening. Venting grooves may be provided in the curved side walls and in the underside of the rim to permit the escape of gases through the container opening.

Pinch cap

A closure cap particularly suited for use with containers such as milk bottles includes multiple sealing areas as well as frangible locking means. The locking means is located near the lower rim of a skirt portion of the closure cap. If the locking means has not been tampered with, an interlocking engagement between the locking means and a complementary portion of the container retains the cap on the container. If the locking means has been tampered with, the cap can be removed from the container. A visual inspection of the closure cap readily indicates whether the locking means is in tampered or untampered condition. In one embodiment, the cap can be repeatedly snapped into place on the container, and in other alternative embodiments, the cap can be repeatedly threaded onto the container. The multiple sealing areas not only seal the contents of the container, but one of the areas also prevents dust, dirt, or other contaminants from having access to the other sealing areas.
