A carrier shaft with a modular structure for an electromechanical switching device of an embodiment includes at least one first carrier module, at least one second carrier module and at least one connecting module, arranged in a torsion-inhibiting manner between the at least one first carrier module and the at least one second carrier module. The connecting module includes a main body and at least one connecting device and the connecting device are arranged in the main body, the at least one first carrier module and the at least one second carrier module. Another embodiment relates to an electromechanical switching device with the carrier shaft.

A molded-case circuit breaker includes a handle, a contact system and an actuating device. In an embodiment, the handle is movable between an 'ON' position and an 'OFF' position, the contact system includes at least one stationary contact and a movable contact and the actuating device is operatively connected to the handle and the contact system such that, when the handle is actuated, it is possible to open and close the contact system. Furthermore, in the event of a fault state, the handle can be brought into a &#x201c;TRIP&#x201d; position arranged between the &#x201c;ON&#x201d; position and the &#x201c;OFF&#x201d; position by the actuating device.

A switching unit includes a pawl and a pawl spring, embodied such that, when a switching lever of the switching unit is moved from an ON position into a TRIP position and/or from the TRIP position into a RESET position, the pawl spring is bent by contact with a lateral face of the pawl. An electrical switching device, such as a circuit breaker, including at least one such switching unit is also disclosed.

An embodiment relates to an electric switch, particularly an electric circuit-breaker, including a rotor housing that can be turned to an ON and an OFF position and at least one electric contact arm that is mounted rotatably in the rotor housing and can be swiveled jointly with as well as relatively to it. A display element is included that is coupled indirectly or directly to the rotor housing and which in one display position indicates the ON position of the rotor housing and in another display position indicates the OFF position of the rotor housing.

Electric switch

A multipolar electrical switch includes at least one central pole housing, which adjoins two adjacent pole housings of the switch. In at least one embodiment of the invention, an electrical switching mechanism for switching an electrical phase current on and off is contained in each of the pole housings respectively. The central pole housing is equipped with a fastening element, which extends through the central pole housing into the two adjacent pole housings, namely in each instance to at most the center of the adjacent pole housings.

Multipolar electrical switch

A switching apparatus for an electrical switching device, the switching device including a rotor housing rotatable between an open position and a closed position; at least one contact arm with a moving contact; and a switching unit with a switching lever, movable between an ON position and an OFF position, a switching frame, and a lever mechanism in functional contact with the switching frame and the rotor housing such that movement of the switching lever into the ON position allows the rotor housing to be moved into the closed position and movement of the switching lever into the OFF position allows the rotor housing to be moved into the open position. The lever mechanism includes at least one stop, configured to prevent movement of the switching lever into the OFF position, independently of the movement of the rotor housing, when the rotor housing is in the closed position.

Switching apparatus

A test button is disclosed for an electrical switching device, especially for a circuit breaker; and an electrical switching device is disclosed, especially a circuit breaker, with a test button. The test button is at least one embodiment is embodied for actuation of a tripping mechanism of the electrical switching device. In this case, the test button actuates the tripping mechanism on the one hand if the test button is actuated manually and on the other hand if a cover element of the electrical switching device is opened. The actuation of the tripping mechanism by way of the test button ensures that the electrical switching device cannot be switched on or tripped respectively.

A multipole electrical switching device is disclosed with an outer housing in which at least two separate switching pole housings are accommodated. In at least one embodiment, the at least two separate switching pole housings on walls facing towards one another, each have a least one mounting which form a mounting pair assigned to one another. In at least one embodiment, for mechanical connection of the at least two separate switching pole housings, the mounting pair is assigned at least one connection device which engages into the two mountings forming the mounting pair. The two mountings forming the mounting pair, in relation to a dividing joint formed between the two facing walls, each form an undercut, whereby the at least one connecting device engages behind the undercuts and the at least one connecting device is formed in a primary process in one piece on the outer housing.
