According to an aspect there is provided an ambient commerce system. The ambient commerce system may include a sensor at an ambient commerce premises. The ambient commerce system may further include a processor coupled to the sensor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may store processor-executable instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: detect, based on an output of the sensor at the ambient commerce premises, engagement of an entity with a first item satisfying first predetermined criteria; identify the entity; determine based on account data for the identified entity, a resource parameter for the identified entity; and when the resource parameter satisfies second predetermined criteria, generate a notification on an electronic device associated with the entity. Identifying the entity may include image recognition, such as facial recognition.

Enabling feature based on a sensed condition at ambient commerce premises

A computer system is provided, comprising a processor; a communications module coupled to the processor; and a memory module coupled to the processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the computer system to: receive an image representing a check; extract data from a portion of the image; identify routing data, based on the extracted data, from a recipient field associated with the check; and initiate an electronic transfer by sending a transfer message using the routing data. Extracting data from the portion of the image may be performed using image recognition and optical character recognition.

A method may include: causing a point-of-sale terminal processing a transaction to display a machine-readable code, the machine-readable code encoding a web address; receiving a request from a device that scanned the machine-readable code, the request received at the web address; in response to receiving the request, causing the device that scanned the machine-readable code to output an interface; receiving, through the interface, an input of an indication to separate the transaction into multiple transaction parts and one or more parameters indicating how the transaction is to be separated; and sending, to the point-of-sale terminal, a message that configures the point-of-sale terminal to separate the transaction in accordance with the one or more parameters. The parameters may include an image captured at the device that scanned the machine-readable code. The server may determine a number of transaction parts from the image using image recognition having facial recognition.

Computer-implemented systems, apparatuses, and processes that dynamically implement and manage hash-based consent and permissioning protocols. By way of example, an apparatus may obtain consent data that identifies one or more elements of data accessible to an application program executed by a device. The apparatus may generate a consent document for the application program based on at least a portion of the consent data, and may compute a consent hash value representative of the consent document. The apparatus may also generate and transmit permissioning data that includes at least the consent hash value to the device. The permissioning data may, for example, include information that instructs the executed application program to store the consent hash value within a local memory of the device and to associate the consent hash value with an access token of the executed application program.

The disclosed embodiments include processes that securely approve and execute exchanges of data between systems, apparatuses, and devices in a computing environment. For example, a terminal device may establish communications with a client device across a direct channel of communication, and may initiate an exchange of data with that additional device across the direct communications channel. The initiated data exchange may be characterized by a value of a data-exchange parameter, and the terminal device may determine to authorize the current data exchange in real-time based on cryptographically secure distributed ledger data maintained by the client device and provided to the terminal device across the direct communications channel. Further, and based on transmitted confirmation data, the client device may generate additional, cryptographically secure of the distributed ledger data to reflect the authorized data exchange.

Secure offline approval of initiated data exchanges

A processing device, when executing computer-executable instructions: receives from a requesting entity computing system a transaction request for a payload. The transaction request is transmitted to delivery entity computing system associated with a delivery entity identifier and geographic location. An encryption key, random number and a unique request identifier are generated and transmitted to requesting and delivery entity computing systems. In response to receiving a delivery transaction confirmation from the delivery entity computing system, the processing device verifies the secure transaction. After receiving a requestor transaction confirmation from the requesting entity computing system (indicating a verified transfer of the payload), a payload reimbursement is transferred to a delivery transaction account from a requestor transaction account.

Systems and methods for locking in offsets associated with resource requests

The disclosed exemplary embodiments include computer-implemented systems, devices, apparatuses, and processes that dynamically implement and manage consent and permissioning protocols using container-based applications. By way of example, a device may receive, through a programmatic interface, a first request for an element of data generated by an executed application program. When the first request is consistent with consent data associated the executed application program, the device may obtain the requested data element and a digital signature applied to the requested data element by a computing system. Based on a verification of the applied digital signature, the device may generate and present a representation of the requested data element within a digital interface, along with an interface element that confirms the verification of the digital signature.

A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: receiving a first request to initiate a first resource transfer for transferring a first defined quantity of resources from a transferor data record to a transferee data record; determining that the first resource transfer is of a first type; in response to determining that the first resource transfer is of a first type, performing verification of the transferee data record by: transmitting, to a first server associated with the transferee data record, a second request to initiate a second resource transfer for transferring a second defined quantity of resources from the transferee data record to the transferor data record; receiving, from the first server, a response message associated with the second request, the response message authorizing the second resource transfer; and verifying the transferee data record based on the response message, and after verifying the transferee data record, initiating a third resource transfer for transferring a third defined quantity from the transferor data record to the transferee data record.

System and methods for secure processing of real-time resource transfers

A token management server includes a memory and a data processor. The memory stores a token database and a subledger database. The processor is configured to save a token in the token database in a record in association with a ledger identifier and a subledger identifier. The processor receives from a point-of-sale station a token authorization request that includes the token and an authorization value, locates in the token database the record that includes the token, extracts the ledger identifier and the subledger identifier from the record, locates in the subledger database a subledger that is associated with the subledger identifier, and confirms that a balance value associated with the located subledger is at least equal to the authorization value. The processor then initiates a transfer from a pooling ledger that is associated with the ledger identifier of a transfer amount that is equal to the authorization value.

In some implementations, a method of providing contactless payments at a point of sale terminal includes: causing a point-of-sale terminal processing a transaction to display a machine-readable code, the machine-readable code encoding a web address; receiving a request from a device that scanned the machine-readable code, the request received at the web address; in response to receiving the request, causing the device that scanned the machine-readable code to output an interface that includes a prompt for input required to complete the transaction; receiving a response to the prompt; and sending an indication of the response to the prompt to the point-of-sale terminal to allow for completion of the transaction based on the response at the point-of-sale terminal through use of a physical token at the point-of-sale terminal.

A request to separate a transfer into a plurality of parts may be received, the request defining a total amount and a total time period. A plurality of request for transfer links may be prepared. Each of the links may be associated with a different transfer time period, each transfer time period being less than or equal to the total time period. Each of the links may be associated with a separate transfer part amount, and a summation of the separate transfer part amounts may be equal to the total amount. A plurality of request for transfer links may be provided to a transferor device, each link allowing a transfer to fulfill the separate transfer part amount to be performed without requiring input of the separate transfer part amount or recipient information.

A processor-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, via a terminal device, input of a first password during a card session that begins when a value transfer card is inserted into the terminal device, the value transfer card being associated with a plurality of passwords; verifying that the first password is a valid password associated with the value transfer card; identifying at least one card control setting associated with the first password, the at least one card control setting being a setting that is not associated with another one of the plurality of passwords; and processing a transaction initiated at the terminal device based on the identified at least one card control setting.
