A saw blade including a body and a plurality of teeth disposed on the body and defining a cutting portion. At least one tooth of the plurality of teeth have a substrate forming a tip of the at least one tooth. The saw blade further includes a thin film ceramic coating overlaying at least the substrate. The thin film ceramic coating has a greater strength than the substrate.

A tool bit includes a drive portion configured to be selectively coupled to a tool and composed of a first material, a shank coupled to the drive portion ad being composed of the first material, and a working end portion configured to engage a fastener. The working end portion includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is coupled to the shank and composed of the first material. The second segment is fixed to the first segment at a connection interface and composed of a second material different than the first material. The second segment includes a first portion and a second portion. Solely the second portion engages the fastener when the tool bit drives the fastener.

A packaging assembly for a drill bit. The packaging assembly includes a front clip including a front side, a rear side opposite the front side, a drill bit holding region configured to receive a portion of the drill bit, and a post extending from the drill bit holding region. The packaging assembly also includes a back clip that is separate from the front clip. The back clip includes an aperture that receives the post. The post includes an enlarged, melted head to inhibit removal of the back clip from the front clip.

The second segment is composed of a second material different than the first material.

The front clip further includes a window extending between the front and rear side to view the drill bit. The window extends away from the drill bit holding region in a longitudinal direction of the front clip. The packaging assembly further includes a back clip that is separate from the front clip. The back clip includes a second channel. The back clip is secured to the front clip to hold the drill bit within the first and second channels.
