The invention relates to a multilumen implant for the application in human and animal bodies, comprising a substantially tubular element () that divides into a proximal () and a distal section (), and at least one stent () for the fixation of the proximal section in a target vessel, wherein the tubular element () is designed to branch in the distal section () into at least two lumens ().

Multilumen implant

The invention relates to an introducer sheath for catheters to be inserted into a vascular system comprising a connecting valve () and an insertion tube () having a proximal portion () and a distal portion (), said distal portion () being of reduced diameter in comparison with the proximal portion (), and to enable its diameter to be reversibly changed the insertion tube () is provided with longitudinally extending expansion elements with incisions () designed as predetermined breaking points.

Expandable introducer sheath

The invention relates to a balloon catheter, in particular for the widening of stents in fenestrations and for T-branch protheses, being provided with a balloon (), a supply line in the catheter () leading to the balloon (), which allows the balloon () to be pressurized, and a central lumen () for a guidewire, with the balloon () in the expanded state having at least two areas (P, D, M) of different diameter, with these areas merging into one another by forming a step.

Balloon catheter

Double balloon

Expandable vascular stent

The invention relates to a double stent comprising 2 coaxially arranged stents, wherein a first membrane is arranged between a first inner stent and a second outer stent and a second membrane is arranged on the second stent and wherein the membrane ends of the first and second membrane are brought together at the ends of the stents and are folded over onto the inside of the first stent and clamped under flexible tongues of the first stent.

Double stent

The invention relates to a medical implant () for the occlusion of a patients auricula sinistra by endovascular means, said implant having a cage structure () comprising a plurality of webs () that are proximally attached to a retaining ring () via connecting webs () and distally limited by a rim of converging webs (), wherein said implant () consists of a self-expanding material, has in contracted state the shape of a slotted tube and, after expansion, assumes the cage structure () of a diameter larger than that of the retaining ring () and wherein at least one or several anchor elements () are arranged within or distally to the cage structure (); said anchor elements being proximally connected directly or indirectly with the retaining ring (), therein (a) the one or more anchor elements () are provided at the distal end with a tip () with barb (), with tip () and barb () projecting beyond the cage structure () with the intention for the tip () and barb () to be anchored in the muscle tissue of the auricula sinistra, or (b) the one or more anchor elements () project laterally beyond the cage structure (), extend in proximal direction in a curved configuration with the intention to be laterally supported against the muscle tissue of the auricula sinistra, or (c) a combination of alternatives (a) and (b) is provided.

Medical implant

An implantable lumen filter () is described. The implantable lumen filter includes a body () having a proximal end (), a distal end (), and a generally tapered outer surface (). The outer surface is formed by a plurality of struts (). The plurality of struts forms a plurality of apertures (). The apertures are dimensioned to inhibit and/or to lyse particulates of a selected size from passing through the apertures. The body () is transitionable from a collapsed state toward a deployed state. The implantable lumen filter includes an engaging portion () having a proximal end () and a distal end (). The proximal end of the engaging portion is connected to a distal end of the body. The engaging portion has a generally annular shape and is configured to engage an inner surface of a body lumen.

Apparatus for filtering a body lumen

A stent-graft including an inner stent having a wall structure including juxtaposed strut-patterns with interconnected struts and connectors connecting the strut-patterns is described. The wall structure of the inner stent has a predetermined length. An outer stent is coaxially arranged around the inner stent and has a wall structure including juxtaposed strut-patterns with interconnected struts and connectors connecting the strut-patterns. The wall structure of the outer stent has a predetermined length and a flexible stretchable material layer arranged between the inner stent and the outer stent. The wall structure of the inner stent has a design differing from the design of the wall structure of the outer stent and the length of the inner stent is equal to the length of the outer stent.

A mandrel usable for expanding a medical device is disclosed. The mandrel includes a first tube portion having a first lumen and a first tube diameter. A second tube portion extends from the first tube portion; the second tube portion is configured to receive a medical device. A second tube diameter is smaller than the first tube diameter. A plurality of tube segments are separated by a plurality of slots formed in the mandrel, while a second lumen is in communication with the first lumen. At least a portion of the plurality of tube segments is moveable outwardly to expand the medical device.
