A resilient fabric band providing a sensor platform for a wearer in order to sense a plurality of biometric data, the band comprising: a pair of ECG sensors coupled to an interior surface of a body of the band, each of the pair of ECG sensors located on either side of a front to back centerline of the body; a pair of bio impedance sensors coupled to the interior surface of the body of the band, each of the pair of bio impedance sensors located on either side of the front to back centerline; a strain gauge sensor coupled to the body of the band; a computer device mounted on the body of the band via a housing, the computer device including a power source, a computer processor, a memory for storing instructions for execution by the computer processor, and a network interface for transmitting data sensed by the sensors; and a plurality of communication pathways connecting the computer device to each of the sensors, the communication pathway for sending power from the power supply to the sensors as controlled by the computer processor and for receiving sensed data from the sensors by the computer processor.

Sensor band for multimodal sensing of biometric data

Systems and methods described herein include disparate textiles integrated with fixtures or objects within a workspace. The respective disparate textiles may be interconnected via electrical interconnection busses and may include electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical structures for sensing data associated with workspace users. The systems may provide, based on the sensed data, actuator output to one or more disparate textiles for personalizing or altering the workspace environment.

Multi-sensor resistive textile ECG system

Systems and methods for authenticating users are described herein. One or more inputs including of biometric data, physical trait data, and other data sources may be collected passively when an individual is present in a space. A confidence ratio associated with one or more of the collected inputs may be determined. One or more of the determined confidence ratios may be evaluated together to determine a final confidence ratio for a user, on which an authentication decision is based. An access level may be selected from a plurality of access levels with different access privileges based on the determined confidence ratio. Authentication may be continuous or ongoing.

System and method for dynamic multi-factor authentication

A textile interconnection system for a textile substrate. The textile substrate may include at least one conductive fibre configured to transmit at least one of a power or data signal. The textile interconnection system includes a textile receptacle projecting from the textile substrate to define a cavity for receiving a controller device. The textile interconnection system includes a textile docking device received within the textile receptacle and coupled to the at least one conductive fibre of the textile substrate to electrically interconnect the received controller device and the textile substrate. Electronics-to-textile interconnection method and system

A multi-functional health monitoring mat which enables the measurement of&#x2014;but not limited to the following parameters: Weight, Plantar pressure, Bio-impedance for body composition, and Cardiovascular based measurements, such as: Electrocardiogram (ECG), Ballistocardiogram (BCG) from which additional health indicating analytics can be further extracted. Measurements taken from the mat are transmitted to a software application on a mobile phone and data is used to provide feedback to the user.
