The construction includes a rotary handle turnable around a first pivot axis between an open- and a closed-position, a locking latch turnable around a second pivot axis between a locked position and a released position, a fixed bottom ring, a first locking pin movable in the longitudinal direction with the locking latch between a first position in which turning of the rotary handle is allowed and a second position in which turning of the rotary handle is allowed and a second position in which turning of the rotary handle is prevented. A second locking pin is movable between a first position in which turning of the locking latch between a locked-position and a released-position is allowed and a second position in which turning of the locking latch into the locked-position is prevented.

Rotary handle construction of an electrical switch

A change-over switch including a frame having a first side wall and a second side wall, a first supply terminal, a second supply terminal, a load terminal, and at least one gas flow opening for discharging gasses from the frame. The second side wall faces substantially opposite direction relative to the first side wall. The change-over switch is adapted to selectively provide a first connection between the first supply terminal and the load terminal, and a second connection between the second supply terminal and the load terminal. The first supply terminal and the second supply terminal project from the first side wall, and the load terminal projects from the second side wall. The at least one gas flow opening is formed in the second side wall.

Change-over switch

An electrical switch. The electrical switch comprises at least one fixed contact, a movable contact contacting the fixed contact, and at least one extinguishing apparatus positioned after the fixed contact in an opening direction of the movable contact. A permanent magnet is further positioned after the extinguishing apparatus in the opening direction of the movable contact.

An electrical switch. The electrical switch includes at least one fixed contact and a movable contact contacting the fixed contact. At least one shutter element is arranged to move in synchronism with the movable contact. The shutter element is positioned in an extended position between the fixed contact and the movable contact and in a contracted position outside the patch of the movable contact allowing the movable contact to turn from the open position to the closed position.

Switch

A rotary switch assembly, including a rotary contact and a stationary contact, and a rotary actuator for rotating the rotary contact such as to connect with and disconnect from the stationary contact. The rotary actuator includes a shield for shielding the rotary contact from a side that faces the stationary contact when the rotary contact and the stationary contacted are being disconnected from each other.

An exemplary movable contact for an electric switch having a first contact blade and a second contact blade. Each of the first contact blade and the second contact blade includes an assembly hole. The movable contact having an assembly pin wherein the assembly pin includes a separation portion having a diameter greater than the assembly holes of the first and second contact blades thereby keeping the first and second contact blades separated from each other. The assembly pin includes a contact blade portion on each side of the separation portion for insertion to the assembly holes of the contact blades.

An exemplary electric switch mounting arrangement includes a housing and a stationary contact to be mounted to an aperture in a wall of the housing. The arrangement having a compensation component within the interior area of the aperture for allowing stationary contacts of two different sizes to be mounted to the aperture, which compensation component includes one or more projections formed on the housing or the stationary contact and/or one or more recesses formed on the housing or stationary contact for receiving the one or more projections.
