A container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber sized to receive a beverage therein. The container includes an insulated vessel that has the chamber and a cooling or heating unit. The cooling or heating unit includes a thermoelectric element in thermal communication with the chamber, phase change material in thermal communication with the thermoelectric element, a power storage device, and circuitry to control the operation of the thermoelectric element. The cooling or heating unit is operable to increase or decrease or maintain a temperature of the beverage in the chamber by operating the thermoelectric element to draw heat from the chamber and transfer it to the module of phase change material.

A portable cooler container with active temperature control includes a container body with an insulated chamber to receive medicines, vaccines, biological samples or other medical goods. A control system is at least partially disposed between an outer wall and an inner wall of the container body. An electronic display screen on one of the lid and the container body configured to display shipping address information for the portable cooler container.

The system further includes a cooling system including a thermoelectric module, a hot side heat sink a cold side heat sink. The portable cooler container system further includes a conduit extending through the sleeve and configured to flow a cooling fluid through the sleeve.

A cooler container kit is described. The cooler container kit includes a container body having a payload chamber, a lid, an electronic system, and one or more electrical connectors. The cooler kit further includes a conduit extending about the payload chamber. The cooler container kit further includes a temperature control system including a cold side heat sink, hot side heat sink, thermoelectric module, and a pump operable to flow a liquid relative to the cold side heat sink to cool the liquid. The cooler container kit further includes a docking unit.

A portable cooler container with active temperature control, comprising: a container body having a chamber configured to receive and hold one or more containers of medicine; a lid operable to access the chamber; and a temperature control system comprising one or more thermoelectric elements configured to actively heat or cool at least a portion of the chamber, circuitry configured to control an operation of the one or more thermoelectric elements to heat or cool at least a portion of the chamber to a predetermined temperature or temperature range; and a display screen disposed on one of the container body and the lid, the display screen configured to selectively display one or more of information associated with the operation of the portable cooler, information associated with the containers of medicine in the portable cooler, information associated with scheduled taking of the containers of medicine, and advertisements.
