The hosting apparatus is configured to provide connectivity to the secure module, and comprises a memory for storing secure module related applications. A processing module is configured to check whether an application chosen or activated by the user of the apparatus is a secure module related application. System and method for manage and control near field communication for a mobile multifunctional device when the device is uncharged or only partially charged

The present invention generally discloses methods, devices and systems for controlling application launching by means of a dedicated application launching table. According to a first aspect of the present invention a method for controlling launching of an application in a first mobile terminal device is provided. Said first mobile device comprises a first near field communication (NFC) module. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of maintaining a dedicated application launching table, detecting the presence of a second device adapted to communicate with said first terminal device, determining identification parameters relating to said second device, and launching at least one predetermined application in said first device, wherein said application is selected to be launched based on entries in said dedicated application launching table and on said determined identification parameters.

In general, the present invention relates to a systems, apparatuses and methods. The system comprises in principle a mobile terminal device and at least one smart memory module. The smart memory module comprises a RFID technology based communications circuitry. The mobile terminal device comprises an antenna circuitry, a RFID technology based communications circuitry, a smart memory module interface, and a radio frequency signal switch. The antenna circuitry is arranged to transmit and receive data carrying radio frequency (RF) signals to/from any counterpart device being equipped with a corresponding counterpart interface. The smart memory module interface is arranged to interface with at least one smart memory module when the smart memory module is present at the smart memory module interface. The radio frequency signal switch is operatively connected to the antenna circuitry. The radio frequency signal switch is further adapted to switch the antenna circuitry to be operatively connected with one of the RFID technology based communications circuitry of the terminal device and the RFID technology based communications circuitry of the smart memory module. Means for generating a switching signal are provided in order to control operation of the radio frequency signal switch. The switching signal is generated on the basis of at least criteria whether the smart memory module is present at the smart memory module interface.

The invention is able to provide consumer related product information to consumer operated terminals and retailer related product information to retailer or employee operated terminals, without requiring separate transponders or unique reading devices. In addition, the invention is able to accomplish providing dynamic information in a highly efficient and user-friendly manner and without requiring additional memory at the tag level.
