When it is determined that there is an individual abnormality, in which an individual drive section is in an abnormal state, while the opening/closing body is being moved by the drive sections or the opening/closing body is stopped in an open state, the opening/closing body operation device performs a restriction control on the drive section with the individual abnormality, the restriction control restricting the movement of the opening/closing body in the closing direction. The opening/closing body operation device makes a comparison of the driving state between the drive section subjected to restriction control and another drive section, and when it is determined that the drive sections are normal with respect to each other, the opening/closing body operation device deems the opening/closing body to be in a normal state and disengages the restriction control.

Device for opening and closing opening/closing body

A shutter type guard apparatus composed of a movable guard member which can be opened and closed for covering the window portion of the cab of a piece of machinery. The guard member is structured so that it can be closed to an intermediately opened position where it is easily operated. An auxiliary closing device includes a cable winding device for winding the first cable, a travelling unit coupled between the first cable and a second cable, an auxiliary guide rail in which the travelling unit and the first and second cables are guided for movement, and a pull handle coupled to the second cable. The auxiliary guide member is at one of a pair of left and right guide rails, for guiding the movable guard member. The pull handle is disposed at an intermediate position, in the vertical direction of the guide rail, and by pulling the pull handle downward, the guard member is forcibly closed to an intermediately opened/closed position where it can be easily reached and further closed by hand by an operator.

Shutter type guard apparatus for construction machine

An engine control device for a boat, ordinary operated with power-assisting actuator, and manually operated through control cable at emergency state. The actuator has a rotary shaft supported by a casing, a slide gear mounted on the rotary shaft in axially slidable and non-rotatable, an output lever fixed on the rotary shaft, a manual input lever co-axially rotatable with the shaft. The slide gear has peripheral teeth for meshing with reduction gear and an engaging portion capable of engaging with the manual input lever.

Engine control device and actuator for the same

The marine engine control system including a manual remote control stand, an electrically-driven actuator, a controller unit, a first control cable connecting the manual remote control stand with the electrically-driven actuator, and a second control cable connecting the electrically-driven actuator with a subject device to be controlled, wherein the manual remote control stand has an operational lever connected at a base portion thereof to the first control cable, wherein the electrically-driven actuator is provided with a clutch device for achieving connection and disconnection between the first control cable and the second control cable, and a motor for driving the second control cable, and wherein the controller unit has a switch device for switching between a manual operation by the manual remote control stand and an electrically-driven operation by the electrically-driven actuator.

Marine engine control system

A control apparatus for a marine engine comprising an operating lever inserting into an opening from the back side to the fore side of hull board and disposed in the fore side of the hull board to control the marine engine by rotating a main body which is disposed in the back side of the hull board to transform a rotational movement of the operating lever into an operational force of a control cable and a set block installed on the fore side of the hull board to fix the main body to the hull board, the main body having a shaft which is connected with the operation lever to transmit movement of the operational lever and a plurality of first installation holes which are arranged radially, the set block having a slit for receiving the shaft in the lateral direction and a plurality of second installation holes arranged, along with a circle having the same diameter as a pitch circle of the first installation hole and part of which are located in the position accorded with the first installation holes when the shaft is received in the slit.

Control apparatus for marine engine

A window opener composed of a motor retained in a casing, a damper for vibration isolation suitable interposed between the motor and the casing, a worm and a worm wheel which are concentrically connected to an output shaft of the motor, and pinion which is concentrically projected from the worm wheel, an output gear engaged with the pinion, a shaft projected from an upper surface of the output gear and a link mechanism for transforming a rotational force in one direction of the shaft into an opening force and transforming the rotational force in another direction of the shaft into a closing force of the window; being characterized in that the worm and worm wheel and the output gear are arranged in such a manner as to be superposed.

Window opener

A friction mechanism for control apparatuses is for use in a control apparatus provided with a discoidal accelerator wheel supported in a freely rotating manner in a housing member and for applying frictional resistance to the said accelerator wheel. The said friction mechanism consists of a friction block supported in the housing member so as to mate with the accelerator wheel in the vicinity of its rim, a pressing member for pressing the friction block supported in the housing member in a direction axial to the accelerator wheel, and a conversion mechanism for converting the pressing force of the said pressing member (a chief constituent of which is the inclined surface formed on the friction block) from the said axial direction to a direction inclined toward the center of the accelerator wheel.

Friction mechanism for control apparatus

A solenoid-actuated control cable comprising a solenoid having one moving core and one set of a first coil and a second coil disposed along the direction of movement of the moving core, wherein to energize one coil makes the moving core attracted in one direction while to energize the other coil makes the moving attracted in the opposite direction and at least one inner cable connected to one end of the moving core and at least one inner cable or a rod connected to the other end of the moving core.
