A display device is provided. The display device includes a display panel including a folding region, first and second non-folding regions at opposite sides of the folding region; a first support plate below the display panel to overlap the first non-folding region and to partially overlap the folding region; a second support plate below the display panel to overlap the second non-folding region and to partially overlap the folding region; a first plate coupling film between the display panel and the first support plate to overlap the first non-folding region; a second plate coupling film between the display panel and the second support plate to overlap the second non-folding region; a first step compensating member between the display panel and the first support plate to overlap the folding region, apart from the first plate coupling film, and including a light shielding layer; and a second step compensating member between the display panel and the second support plate to overlap the folding region, apart from the second plate coupling film, and including a light shielding layer.

Display device

A touch screen panel includes a thin film substrate having sensing patterns formed thereon that is implemented as an isotropic film, and a polarizing plate is disposed on the sensing patterns so that it is possible to minimize or reduce degradation of image quality. The touch screen panel includes a thin film substrate, sensing patterns, and sensing lines. The thin film substrate is divided into an active area and a non-active area. The sensing patterns are formed in the active area of the thin film substrate. The sensing lines are formed in the non-active area of the thin film substrate so as to be connected to the sensing patterns. In the touch screen panel, the thin film substrate is implemented as an isotropic film.

Touch screen panel

A touch screen panel includes a film substrate defined by a touch active area and a non-touch active area and the touch area is arranged outside the touch active area. The touch screen panel includes a plurality of sensing electrodes arranged in the touch active area on an upper surface and a lower surface of the film substrate, and outer lines arranged in the non-touch active area on the upper and the lower surfaces of the film substrate. The outer lines are connected to the sensing electrodes along one of a first direction and a second direction, and the outer lines include a transparent electrode layer and a plating layer on the transparent electrode layer.

Method of fabricating touch screen panel

A flexible touch screen panel in which metal wire sensing patterns are formed as a touch sensor on a first surface of a flexible thin film is provided. The flexible touch screen panel includes a thin film divided into an active area and a non-active area adjacent to the active area, sensing patterns in the active area on a first surface of the thin film, and sensing lines in the non-active area on the first surface of the thin film and connected to the sensing patterns. The sensing patterns include nanowire.

A display device includes preparing a high hardness film. In the high hardness film, a first supporting member, a silsesquioxane film, and a second supporting member are deposited. The high hardness film is pre-treated, forming a pre-window. A transparent member is formed on a surface of the pre-window through an injection process. The transparent member is formed of polycarbonate. The first supporting member and the second supporting member are formed of polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate.

Method of manufacturing protective window and display device produced by using the same

A touch screen panel including a transparent substrate; a background layer including a color printing layer along an edge of a surface of the transparent substrate; an overcoating layer on the surface of the transparent including the upper portion of the background layer; conductive sensing cells on the overcoating layer; and position detection lines.

A touch screen panel includes: a thin film that includes an active area and a non-active area around the active area; sensing patterns in the active area on a first side of the thin film; sensing lines coupled to the sensing patterns, in the non-active area on the first side; a decoration layer on a second side of the thin film, corresponding to the non-active area; and a functional coating layer on the second side of the thin film with the decoration layer.
