The present invention provides a check valvethrough which a fluid can satisfactorily open and pass when the fluid flows forward, and a bagincluding the check valve and having a function of satisfactorily discharging a fluid. This check valve includes a one-side airtight base sheet, an inlet, a valve sheet, an auxiliary sheet, and the other-side airtight base sheet. The portion between the other-side airtight base sheetand the valve sheetserves as a valve flow channel, and a fluid flowing forward passes through the valve flow channelfrom the inletand flows out from the outlet. The valve sheetis fixed at its upstream end by the fixation portion, is freely movable at its downstream end. On the fixation portionand the one-side airtight base sheetof the inlet, the introduction recessesare formed.

An apparatus is provided for manufacturing a cushioning package containing an article to be packaged. The apparatus includes a cushioning sheet forming unit to form a cushioning sheet by heat-sealing flexible elongated resin sheets which are continuously fed in a longitudinal direction and placed one on another in advance in a width direction of the sheet, the cushioning sheet including small sacs. Downstream from the cushioning sheet forming unit, an article storage space forming unit is provided for forming an article storage space by folding the cushioning sheet along a longitudinal centerline. A sheet adhering unit adheres the overlapped cushioning sheets. An article disposing unit inserts the article to be packaged into the article storage space, and an air filling unit fills the small sacs with air. Sequential performance of the above steps achieves efficient manufacturing of cushioning package.

The buffer packing bag comprises an air-supplying passage, which is made of plastic films placed one on another and bonded at desirable spots, and an air-inflatable section formed beside the air-supplying passage, which is divided into individual air-inflatable parts, formed by heat-bonded at multiple spots, and check valves, which allow and stop air flow between each of individual air-inflatable parts and the air-supplying passage, and space-making folds, made in both of the divided portions of the air-inflatable section by heat-bonding to make at least two lines in each portions crossing the individual air-inflatable parts, with the formation to make a loading slit by folding inward from both of the width ends along the length side of the base and heat-bonding both of the overlapped areas of the length sides.

A check valve having a function of adjusting a flow rate of a fluid and comprising a flat body composed of a plastic film; and a fluid take-out appliance inserted into a duct of the body. The fluid take-out appliance comprises a guide pipe; a flow pipe longer than the guide pipe and shorter than the body and reciprocatively inserted into the guide pipe; a duct-opening member thin rectangular solid-shaped and provided on the flow pipe at a front end thereof; a gripping flange provided on the flow pipe at a rear end thereof; an inlet provided on the flow pipe; one or more engaging grooves provided on the guide pipe at a front end thereof; and a convexity provided on an outer surface of the flow pipe and engaging the engaging grooves of the guide pipe. In this construction, the fluid take-out appliance is inserted into the duct of the body, with an outer surface of the guide pipe in close contact with the duct of the body at a rear side thereof.

A slider 1 for engaging at least two fasteners provided inside of opposed edge portions of a bag defining an opening. The fasteners each includes a male fastener member strip and provided on the inner surface of one of the edge portions and a female fastener member strip and provided on the inner surface of the other edge portion in opposed relation with the male fastener member. The slider 1 includes a slider body 2 and a clamp member 3 for the slider body 3. The slider body 2 includes two opposite plates 2a, 2a interconnected by a base portion 4 and foldable over each other at the base portion. At least one of plates 2a is formed in an inner surface thereof with at least two grooves 5, 5 arranged in parallel for fitting therein respective fastener portions of the bag for the plates 5, 5 to press and engage the fasteners from outside. A tonguelike stopper 6 is positioned inwardly of the plates 2a, 2a and extends from base portion 4 to a position closer to the base portion 4 than the groove 5 immediately adjacent to the base portion when the plates 2a, 2a are folded over each other.

A check-valved pouch has a main pouch body, and a check valve attached to the main pouch body. The main pouch body is formed of plastic film and defines an opening for receiving a substance. The check valve is formed of plastic film also, and includes a flat valve body defining an upper opening, with opposte sides and a lower end closed, and an inner passage for discharging gases toward the upper opening. A check piece formed of plastic film is disposed in an upper half of the valve body. The check valve further includes a porous filtering film disposed on one surface in a lower half of the valve body. The filtering film includes a filter surface, and a releasing film formed on the filter surface. The check valve is attached to the main pouch body, with the filtering film inserted into the main pouch body and the upper opening exposed to ambient air, whereby an interior of the main pouch body is communicable with an exterior through the filter surface, inner passage and upper opening.

A compressive sealed bag for compressible articles such as clothing comprising a sealed bag body of a plastic film having sealing fasteners formed at an opening portion of the bag body and a check valve formed with a flat pipe of a plastic film and provided at any marginal portions of the bag body other than the opening portion and having a base end inserted into the bag body and a tip end projecting to the outside for discharging the air from the bag body, said sealing fastener being provided at least two positions at the opening portion of the bag body, said tip end of the check valve provided at the marginal portion of the bag body being enveloped in a covering envelope of a plastic film having a discharge outlet of the air.
