A sentence evaluation apparatus evaluates a sentence which is input. The sentence evaluation apparatus includes an acquisition device and a processor. The acquisition device acquires information indicating a first input sentence and information indicating a second input sentence. The processor executes information processing on the information acquired by the acquisition device, using an algorithm based on machine learning. The processor includes a first encoder that recognizes the first input sentence and a second encoder that recognizes the second input sentence, in the algorithm based on the machine learning. The processor generates evaluation information indicating evaluation on the first input sentence with reference to the second input sentence, based on a result of recognition by the first encoder on the first input sentence and a result of recognition by the second encoder on the second input sentence.

The processor accepts an input of event information including the type of event. An investigation assist device is connected to cameras installed at a plurality of intersections respectively. The investigation assist device has a processor and a storage that records road map information including the plurality of intersections and captured video of each camera in association with camera information and intersection information. The processor extracts camera information of intersections adjacent to a first point where an event occurred according to an information input including information on the first point and feature information of a vehicle having caused the event. The processor retrieves a vehicle satisfying the feature information of the vehicle using a captured video of a camera specified by the extracted camera information. The processor analyzes feature information of the retrieved vehicle. The processor updates feature information of the vehicle by adding the analyzed feature information of the vehicle to the feature information of the vehicle input by the information input, and stores the updated information in the storage. The processor updates detection point information of the vehicle from the information on the first point into detection point information of the retrieved vehicle, and stores the updated information in the storage.

An investigation assist system includes an investigation assist device that acquires captured video of cameras installed at a plurality of intersections respectively; and an operator terminal that is connected to the investigation assist device so as to communicate with the investigation assist device. The investigation assist device detects an occurrence of an event at a first point based on the acquired captured video of the camera, and transmits the captured video of the camera to the operator terminal, the captured video being acquired at a time when the event is detected. The operator terminal records the captured video of the camera transmitted from the investigation assist device, and transmits report contents information based on the report indicating the occurrence of the event to the investigation assist device. The investigation assist device extracts a captured video satisfying the report contents information transmitted from the operator terminal, and transmits the extracted video to the investigation assist device. A method for processing an image includes receiving an input image having distortion, receiving position information input by a user on the received input image, generating a first image by correcting the input image having distortion, and translating a position on the input image having distortion indicated by the received position information into a position on the generated first image. A waste management system and associated method are used to control routing of an autonomous waste receptacle in a facility. The autonomous waste receptacle includes a cavity for storing trash, a trash level sensor for sensing a level of trash stored therein, and a motor operative to move the waste receptacle. Position trackers sense positions of the autonomous waste receptacle and of patrons in the facility. Additionally, concession consumption concession consumption data indicative of sales performed by concessions in the facility are stored. A processing subsystem controls the waste receptacle to move autonomously in the facility along a route determined according to correlations between concession consumption data, trash levels monitored by the waste receptacle, and patron positions.

Detection frame forming section forms a congested region frame that surrounds a congested region detected by congested region detecting section, and object detection frame that surround image of target detected by object detecting section.
