An actuator includes a rod, an electric motor to generate a rotational driving force on supply of electricity, an output shaft to output the rotational driving force of the electric motor to the rod, a feed screw mechanism, and a rotation prevention mechanism. The feed screw mechanism includes a female screw portion formed on one of the output shaft and the rod, and a male screw portion formed on the other to mesh with the female screw portion. The rotation prevention mechanism is configured to regulate rotation of the rod caused by the rotational driving force of the electric motor.

Electric flow control valve and actuator

A switch valve structure of a fluid machine () having a pump mode to operate as a compressor and a motor mode to operate as an expander is disclosed. In pump mode, a communication path () between a working chamber (V) and a high-pressure chamber () is closed, while in motor mode, the communication path () is opened by a valve unit (). The valve unit () is includes a spool portion () sliding in the direction substantially perpendicular to the surface to which the communication path () opens and a valve portion () arranged at the forward end of the spool portion () and sliding with the spool portion () thereby to open/close the communication path (). A swivel mechanism () is interposed between the spool portion () and the valve portion () to tilt the sliding axis of the valve portion () at an arbitrary angle with respect to the sliding axis of the spool portion ().

Switch valve structure of fluid machine

A fluid machine for a gas compression refrigerating system comprises a first and a second working for performing a pump mode operation, in which working fluid of low pressure is sucked into and compressed by the working chambers. The fluid machine further comprises valve mechanism for selectively forming a motor mode passage in combination with a fluid passage change-over device, so that super heated working fluid of high pressure is introduced into at least one of the working chambers to perform a motor mode operation, in which the high pressure working fluid is expanded in the working chamber to obtain mechanical energy. The fluid machine according to the invention, therefore, performs the pump mode operation at one of the working chambers and at the same time the motor mode operation at the other working chamber.

Fluid machine for gas compression refrigerating system

In a fluid apparatus used as a compressor, a swing support member is constructed of a hook-type adjustable joint, and supports a swing member in capable of swinging while restricting the swing member from rotating about a center axis of a shaft of the compressor. A variable mechanism portion is constructed of a rotary member rotatable around the shaft, the swing member and the like. A slant center around which the swing member swings is made to substantially correspond to a center of gravity of the variable mechanism portion. Therefore, a slant moment, for changing a slant angle of the swing member, is not structurally generated. Accordingly, even when the compressor operates, large vibration and large noise can be prevented, thereby improving durability of the compressor.

Balanced variable displacement fluid apparatus

A variable capacity compressor like a swash plate type where a pressurized fluid is fed to a control pressure chamber such as a swash plate chamber to apply a backpressure to a piston etc. and the backpressure is changed by the capacity control valve, wherein the valve is streamlined and reduced in cost by providing a simple valve such as a two-way solenoid valve as a capacity control valve in a feed path to or discharge path from the control pressure chamber. By controlling the duty ratio of the valve, it is possible to smoothly change the capacity of the compressor. Further, a torque sensor is provided at a drive shaft, and the valve is controlled by a control unit to change the discharge capacity of the compressor in accordance with that detection value.

Variable capacity compressor

A swing member is supported by a swing support member like a universal joint of a Hook's type such that it can swing in a state where it is prevented from rotating around a center line. In this manner, even if a shaft rotates at high speed, the swing member is surely prevented from rotating around the shaft. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a piston from excessively vibrating, hence to prevent large noises from being made, and to improve reliability and durability of a compressor when the compressor is operated at high speed.

Wobble type fluid pump having swing support mechanism

A piston type compressor having a drive plate (swash plate), wherein sliding friction between the drive plate and shoes is reduced and the compressor is made smaller by slidably attaching the shoes engaged with spherical ends of pistons to a shoe holding plate formed with guide grooves in the radial direction and supporting the shoe holding plate by the drive plate through a thrust bearing. The drive plate is connected to an arm of the shaft side through a double slide link mechanism to enable it to be supported by only a front end of the front housing.

Compressor with single shaft support

A scroll-type compressor for realizing the operating condition of complete 0% capacity without using an electromagnetic clutch. In order to minimize the power loss, a compliance crankshaft mechanism for allowing the orbiting radius of the movable scroll member to change steplessly to zero is interposed between a shaft and a scroll member. A guide hole having an inclined surface such as a two-step conical surface is formed at the end plate of the movable scroll member. A plunger adapted to engage by advancing toward and retracting from the guide hole is supported on a housing. When the plunger is advanced into the guide hole under the control of a control operation device including a control pressure chamber and a control valve, the movable scroll member moves radially, so that the amount of eccentricity and the orbiting radius thereof are reduced to achieve the 0% capacity.

Scroll compressor with mechanically actuated capacity control

A variable displacement compressor includes a linking groove, which forms a hinge for connecting an arm and an inclining member. The groove is generally U-shaped (open). A link pin is fitted in the groove such that the link pin can pivot or slide within the groove. As a result, installation of a movable parts assembly, which is done by inserting the link pin into the groove, is easier. A controlled pressure chamber improves the response of the compressor to controls.

Variable displacement compressor

Downsizing a piston stroke dimension in a compressor that reciprocates pistons is accomplished by changing a radial directional component of a shaft of a motion that is transferred to a link from a revolving member revolved by the shaft when transferred to the link attached to the pistons. Thereby, when the revolving member, driven by a shaft, revolves once, a center of a sliding pin appears to reciprocate once in a vertical direction as it goes back and forth on both sides interposing a piston axial line. Thus, when the revolving member revolves once, the piston reciprocates twice in a cylinder bore in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the driving shaft.

Fluid machinery

A hybrid type compressor is provided that is drivable by an electric motor and an external driving source. The hybrid type compressor includes a housing and a compression mechanism. A shaft is rotatably supported by the housing for transmitting rotational driving force to the compression mechanism. The electric motor unit generates rotational driving force for rotating the shaft and includes a stator fixed to the housing and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator. The hybrid type compressor also includes a pulley for receiving rotational driving force generated by the external driving source and for transmitting the rotational driving force to the shaft. Additionally, a one-way clutch is provided between the pulley and the shaft for allowing the rotational driving force generated by the external driving source to be transmitted only from the pulley to the shaft.

Hybrid type compressor driven by engine and electric motor

A friction clutch such as an electromagnetic clutch, in which a driving friction surface is formed on a rotor integral with a rotationally driven pulley and a driven friction surface in opposed relation to the driving friction surface is formed on an intermediate member pivotally mounted on a boss by a pin, is disclosed. When the rotor is in rotation, the armature portion of the intermediate member is attracted by an initial energizing means for generating a comparatively small force such as an electromagnetic coil so that the intermediate member is rotated around the pin. When the friction surface of the intermediate member is lightly pressed against the friction surface of the rotor, the friction force exerted tangentially to the contact surface causes the intermediate member to rotate further around the pin and generate a large force along the normal. Thus, the friction force is increased thereby making it possible to transmit a large power from the rotor to the boss through the intermediate member.

Friction clutch

A compressor of scroll type or the like, in which, in order to change the discharge capacity automatically in accordance with the rpm (rotational speed) of a shaft (,) by simple means, the centrifugal force exerted on a movable scroll (,) orbiting with the rotation of the shaft (,) is used as a vibratory force to forcibly vibrate a spool (,) constituting a valve body supported on an elastic member (,), thereby opening and closing bypass holes (,) for establishing communication between a working chamber (V) and a suction chamber (,).

Variable capacity-type scroll compressor

In a hybrid type compressor, a one-way clutch is provided between a magnet rotor and a rotor shaft for allowing rotational driving force generated by an electric motor unit to be transmitted only from a rotor to a shaft. Thus, the rotational driving force generated by a vehicle engine is not transmitted from the rotor shaft to the magnet rotor. That is, an inertia moment of a rotational system with respect to a vehicle engine is made small, thereby reducing the impact vibration when the clutch mechanism engages.

An inclined surface is formed in an upper inside wall of housing. The inclined surface inclines downwardly toward a lip seal. Lubricant oil supplied to the upper end of the inclined surface flows along the inclined surface without dropping downwardly due to surface tension, and flows to the lower end of the inclined surface then reaches the lip seal. Thus, the lubricant oil is supplied to the lip seal with certainty, thereby suppressing the wear of the lip seal and improving the durability of the compressor.
