A plurality of music apparatustosuch as an electronic musical instrument and a microphone apparatus are connected by wireless to a mixer apparatus. A Bluetooth module is adopted as wireless communication means to construct a piconet with mixer apparatusfunctioning as a master and music apparatustofunctioning as slaves. Audio signals and MIDI data from music apparatustoare transmitted by wireless to mixer apparatusthrough isosynchronous communication procedure using Bluetooth modules. In mixer apparatus, with regard to the MIDI data, music tone signals based on the MIDI data are produced, whereafter the produced music tone signals and the aforesaid audio signals transmitted by wireless are mixed. Wiring by means of cables between a plurality of music apparatus and a mixer apparatus is abolished, thereby eliminating the cumbersomeness of wiring and the restrictions accompanying the wiring.

Mixer apparatus and music apparatus capable of communicating with the mixer apparatus

An electronic musical instrument having a rhythm performance function includes a first memory for pre-storing plural rhythm tone kinds, rhythm selecting switches each capable of designating one of said rhythm tone kinds and a rhythm tone generator having plural channels. The selected rhythm tone kind is assigned to each channel of the rhythm tone generator. A rhythm tone corresponding to the selected rhythm tone kind is generated by each channel so that continuous rhythm tones will be generated by plural channels based on time division system. In addition, before playing a rhythm performance, rhythm patterns can be arbitrarily programmed and then stored into a second memory by operating the rhythm selecting switches and other switches corresponding to the predetermined rhythm tones of plural musical instruments. Further, the roll of rhythm tones can be continuously generated, wherein volume information stored in the first memory is determined such that tone volume of the roll of rhythm tones is set smaller than that of the normal rhythm tones.

Electronic musical instrument having a ryhthm performance function

An electronic musical instrument, which carries out a plurality of process functions, comprises a plurality of operation elements, function designation device, setting device, reading device, assigning device, and control device. The plurality of operation elements is operated. The function designation device stores function designation data which designates a plurality of functions corresponding to one of a plurality of process functions. The setting device freely connects or disconnects the function designation device with the electronic musical instrument. The reading device reads out the function designation data stored in the function designation device. The assigning device respectively assigns the plurality of functions, designated based on the function designation data, to plurality of operation elements. The control device carries out the functions respectively assigned to the plurality of operation elements when the plurality of operation elements are respectively operated. Therefore, the electronic musical instrument carries out a plurality of process functions by changing the function designation device to be connected therewith.
