A heat fixing roll or belt having a silicone rubber layer which is formed by curing a silicone rubber composition comprising (A) 100 pbw of an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded alkenyl radicals in a molecule, (B) 20-500 pbw of a metallic silicon powder having an average particle size of up to 100 &#x3bc;m, and (C) an effective amount of a curing agent. The silicone rubber layer has a high heat conductivity and long-term temperature durability.

Proposed is a polyol-crosslinkable fluorocarbon rubber-based composition which exhibits excellent workability in milling and molding as well as excellent storage stability and is capable of giving a molded and vulcanized rubber article at a high vulcanization velocity with good mold-releasability of the molded and vulcanized rubber article from the metal mold. The rubber composition comprises, as the essential ingredients: (a) a polyol-crosslinkable fluorocarbon rubber and (b) a crosslinking agent which is, in place of a conventional polyol compound such as bisphenol A, a silylated polyol compound such as 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2,2-bis(4-trimethylsiloxy phenyl) propane, i.e. a silylation product of bisphenol AF.

Fluorocarbon rubber composition

The electroconductive silicone rubber composition of the invention is prepared by compounding a diorganopolysiloxane with each a specified amount of spherical particles of a cured silicone elastomer, metallic electroconductivity-imparting agent, e.g., metal powder, and a curing agent, e.g., organic peroxide. The composition has good molding workability and is capable of giving a cured electroconductive silicone rubber body having good mechanical properties along with high electroconductivity despite the formulation including the metal powder. Improvements can be obtained in the elastic resilience and permanent compression set of the cured silicone rubber body by the admixture of the composition with a specific liquid organosilicon compound having a phenyl group or an alkyl group of 3 to 10 carbon atoms bonded to the silicon atoms.
