A scratch layer transfer sheet comprising a substrate film and a transferable scratch layer disposed on one surface of the substrate film, the transferable scratch layer comprising a hiding layer, being able to be thermally transferred to the print surface of a transfer-receiving material and being able to be removed from the print surface by scratching it after it is transferred. The scratch layer transfer sheet is overlapped on a transfer-receiving material such that the transferable scratch layer faces the print surface of the transfer-receiving material to transfer said transferable scratch layer to the print surface by heating.

Disclosed is a thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprising a substrate sheet, an intermediate layer provided on at least one surface side of the substrate sheet and a dye receptor layer provided on the surface of the intermediate layer, wherein the substrate sheet is a pulp paper, the intermediate layer is formed from an organic solvent solution of a resin, and the dye receptor layer is formed from an aqueous resin liquid. By virtue of this structure, the thermal transfer image receiving sheet can be prevented from occurrence of curling caused by temperature change. Also disclosed is a thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprising a substrate sheet, an intermediate layer provided on at least one surface side of the substrate sheet and a dye receptor layer provided on the surface of the intermediate layer, wherein the intermediate layer is formed from either an acrylic resin or a resin at least a part of which is crosslinked. By virtue of this structure, the thermal transfer image receiving sheet can be excellent in smoothness, strength, cushioning properties and writing properties, and further can give an image of high density and high resolution.

Disclosed is a thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprising a substrate sheet, an intermediate layer provided on at least one surface side of the substrate sheet and a dye receptor layer provided on the surface of the intermediate layer, wherein the intermediate layer is formed from either an acrylic resin or a resin at least a part of which is crosslinked. By virtue of this structure, the thermal transfer image receiving sheet can be excellent in smoothness, strength, cushioning properties and writing properties, and further can give an image of high density and high resolution.

An image-receiving sheet having an opaque detection mark formed by coating a resin varnish comprising a resin, a low-boiling good solvent, and a high-boiling poor solvent, the detection mark being rendered transparent upon heating, the resin comprising a terpolymer of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and vinyl alcohol monomers. By virtue of this constitution, before image formation, the detection mark has high opacity and can be detected in high sensitivity, that is, does not cause a lowering in infrared radiation transmission or reflectance properties before heating at the time of image information, while when an image is formed by means of a copying machine or a printer in high-processing electrophotographic system, thermal transfer system or the like, heating and application of pressure at the time of image formation erases the detection mark to such an extent that the detection mark is no longer visually noticeable.
