An adjuster of a string-end-fixing portion of an article includes first and second sliders which are mounted on an ordinary fastener chain so as to oppose to each other with shoulder mouths thereof opposed to each other and a connecting member for connecting the first and second sliders. The first slider has a stopper pawl member. The adjuster of the string-end-fixing portion is attached to a handling portion for adjusting a portion, one end of a string or the like is fixed to the first and second sliders or the connecting member while the other end is fixed to the string-end-fixing portion of the article so as to move the string-end-fixing portion, maintain the string-end-fixing portion after adjusting operation of the string-end-fixing portion, and facilitate attaching the string or the like again if a fixing of the string or the like fixed to the slider or the like is released.

A slider for a slide fastener comprises: a slide body () including an upper wing () and a pull tab () having a pintle (); the slider body () comprising: a pull-tab-attaching yoke () mounted on the upper wing () in cantilevered manner, having an indentation () formed therein for receiving the pintle () directly or indirectly, and defining with the upper wing () a gap (); and a closing member () movably mounted on the slider body () so as to close and open the gap (). The pull tab () further includes a pull tab body () and a pair of opposed protuberant walls () provided on the lower side of the pull tab body (). The pintle () extends between the opposed protuberant walls () to connect them. At least one of the ends of the opposed protuberant walls () is open to provide an open space ().

A pull-tab connector capable of attaching a pull tab with a flat or round strap, simply. A connecting ring, which is adapted to be attached to a slider body, is connected to an outer side of a central frame of a U-shaped bracket of the connector. Opposite side frames of the U-shaped bracket have a pair of horizontal slots in which a strap-turning bar is slidably and rotatably received and a pair of axial holes in which a strap-insertion bar is rotatably received. The strap-insertion bar has a strap-insertion through-hole. In use, the strap is firstly threaded through the strap-insertion through-hole of the strap-insertion bar and is then turned around the strap-turning bar, and finally pulled out from the strap-insertion through-hole again. The opposite ends of the strap are pulled to be aligned with each other. Then, the strap can be attached to the connector in a simple operation and is exchangeable with another strap as desired.

A pull-tab connector for attaching a pull tab's round strap to a slider body is composed of a connector body and a connecting ring on one end of the connector body. The connector body has a transverse through-hole t a side toward the connecting ring, and a pair of longitudinal strap-insertion holes communicating with and perpendicularly to the transverse through-hole and opening to the other end of the connector body and to opposite sides of the connector body via a pair of inwardly tapering longitudinal inlet openings. The strap is inserted through the transverse through-hole and then forced into the longitudinal holes from the respective inlet openings, whereupon opposite ends of the strap are laterally aligned and then pulled to tighten the strap. Thus the strap can be threaded through the connector body simply and neatly, and the threaded strap can be exchanged with another as a demand arises.
