A geared motor includes a gear unit, a first, a second, or a third electric motor, and an adapter part situated between the gear unit and the electric motor. On its side facing the electric motor, the adapter part has a first, a second, and a third centering device, and on the side facing away from the electric motor, it is connected to the gear unit. The centering devices are radially set apart from one another, and the second centering device is situated radially between the first and third centering devices. The electric motor has an axially protruding centering ring, which is centered by only a single one of the centering devices of the adapter part, and the other centering devices are radially set apart from the centering ring and/or have no centering function, e.g., for the centering ring.

A gear system includes a housing part. The housing part has a cylindrical inner wall which radially surrounds the wheel, e.g., toothed part, such as a gear, connected to the output shaft of the gear system for conjoint rotation. On the cylindrical inner wall are formed projections, which are spaced from each other in the circumferential direction, e.g., are spaced from each other at regular intervals, and which project radially inwards and extend axially. For example, the projections are longer in the axial direction than in the circumferential direction and in the radial direction.

In a gear unit that includes a rotatably mounted toothed part and a method for manufacturing a gear unit that includes a toothed part, the toothed part has bearing seats and a toothing, and the toothed part, e.g., together with the toothing, is produced from sintered metal powder. A gear unit motor having a gear unit and an electric motor which drives the gear unit, the electric motor having a rotor shaft, which is disposed so as to allow a rotation about its rotor shaft axis, the gear unit having a first housing part and a second housing part, the second housing part having a square flange, the first housing part having a round flange facing the motor and a square flange facing the second gear unit housing part, in particular the square flange of the second housing part, the round flange and the square flange of the first housing part being connected by an interposed connection section, the connection section of the first housing part having projections in one surface section, in particular projections that extend parallel to the direction of the rotor shaft axis when viewed in the circumferential direction.
