A process for producing an inkjet ink composition is provided and includes dispersion-treating a coloring material in a non-aqueous solvent with a dispersant having no coloring material-dispersing property, the coloring material being covered with a resin insoluble in the non-aqueous solvent. A negative planographic printing plate precursor includes a negative recording layer on a support. The support has a hydrophilic surface with hydrophilic graft polymer chains present therein. The negative recording layer contains a radical generator, a radical-polymerizing compound, and a photo-thermal converting agent. Preferably, the hydrophilic graft polymer chains are directly bonded to the support surface or to an intermediate layer formed on the support surface, or are introduced into a crosslinked polymer film structure.

The present invention relates to a planographic printing plate precursor comprising a substrate comprising a hydrophilic surface having disposed thereon a heat-sensitive layer containing a thermoplastic particulate polymer having functional groups capable of interacting with the hydrophilic surface. Preferably, hydrophilic graft polymer chains are present on the hydrophilic surface of the substrate. The present invention further relates to a planographic printing plate precursor comprising a substrate comprising a hydrophilic surface having disposed thereon a heat-sensitive layer comprising microcapsules comprising a compound having functional groups capable of interacting with the hydrophilic surface. There are provided a conductive pattern material and a pattern-forming method by which a fine pattern having a high resolution and no wire breakage is obtained. The conductive pattern material is such that on a support surface a pattern-forming layer is formed which allows the formation of a hydrophilic/hydrophobic region directly bonded to the support surface due to energy imparted. Energy is imparted to the pattern-forming material in an imagewise manner to form the conductive material layer.

The positive planographic printing plate precursor of the present invention is a precursor comprising (I) a positive recording layer including a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble polymer compound and a light to heat converting agent, on a support having a hydrophilic surface in which a hydrophilic graft polymer chain is present. The precursor may further comprise (II) a lower layer including a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble polymer compound between the recording layer and the support.

The present invention relates to a conductive film excellent in electrical conductivity and durability and useful for display elements and solar cells. In particular, the invention relates to a conductive film comprising conductive fine particles adsorbed to a support, a conductive film comprising a transparent conductive layer such as an ITO layer provided on a support, and a conductive film comprising a conductive polymer layer, instead of the ITO layer, formed on a support.

A planographic printing plate precursor comprising a support and a cross-linking hydrophilic layer disposed thereon, which cross-linking hydrophilic layer has a cross-linking structure and includes a hydrophilic high molecular compound having a hydrophilic graft chain. The planographic printing plate precursor is characterized by the cross-linking hydrophilic layer being produced by reacting a hydrophilic high molecular compound having, on the backbone polymer thereof, a group which is able to react with a cross-linking agent, with the cross-linking agent. In the present invention, an image forming layer may be provided on the cross-linking hydrophilic layer. The cross-linked hydrophilic layer may include a compound which is able to form a hydrophobic surface region of the cross-linking hydrophilic layer when exposed to heat or radiation.

On a support having a hydrophilic surface with hydrophilic graft polymer chains existing therein, formed is a thermosensitive layer containing a polymer having, in the molecule, a functional group capable of interacting with the hydrophilic graft polymer and a functional group that undergoes hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity conversion through exposure to heat, acid or radiation to fabricate the planographic printing plate precursor.
