The multilayer inductor includes a multilayer winding portion comprising a plurality of coil layers that are vertically stacked, and having an inner surface that defines a hollow of the plurality of coil layers and having an outer surface that defines an outer side and a magnetic compensator made of a soft magnetic material and comprising a magnetic wall located at at least one of the inner surface or the outer surface of the multilayer winding portion.

The present disclosure relates generally to radio engineering, and for example, to high-rate wireless data transfer between different printed circuit boards or between parts of the same printed circuit board. The technical result is easier fabrication, smaller dimensions, lower losses at high frequencies and improved performance. According to the disclosure, a wireless data transfer system comprises: two printed circuit boards separated by an air gap, between which a transverse electromagnetic (TEM) mode waveguide is formed, wherein each printed circuit board includes a converter structure configured to: perform conversion between the signal transmission line mode and TEM mode in the waveguide, connected to an RF component; wherein the converter structure includes: an antenna, a signal transmission line between the antenna and the RF component, and at least one reflector configured to provide directive propagation of the TEM mode in the waveguide; wherein the width of the air gap between the printed circuit boards does not exceed λ/4, where λ is the wavelength of the transmitted signal.

Wireless interconnect for high-rate data transfer

The disclosure relates to a wide scanning antenna array. The technical result consists in increasing the beam scanning range of the antenna array and the operating frequency range, simplifying the design of the antenna array and reducing losses. An antenna array is provided. The antenna array includes a plurality of antenna array elements. Each antenna array element of the plurality of antenna array elements includes a main printed circuit board (PCB) over which a middle layer and an additional PCB are arranged. A first patch element is disposed at the main PCB, and a second patch element is disposed at the additional PCB. The antenna array element further includes a cavity in the middle layer to reduce coupling between the antenna array element and at least another antenna array element of the plurality of antenna array elements. The cavity in the middle layer includes a hole that supports coupling between the first patch element and the second patch element. The main PCB, the middle layer and the additional PCB are interconnected by means of a no galvanic connection.

A printed circuit board-integrated antenna for transmitting/receiving data, the antenna comprises an intermediate section comprising patch elements interconnected by at least one via, wherein a first patch element is disposed in a lower middle layer and is separated by a gap from a conductive solid area, a second patch element is disposed in an upper middle layer and is separated by a gap from the conductive solid area; a parasitic patch element disposed in an upper layer and separated by a gap from the conductive solid area; and a strip line connected directly to an edge of the first patch element, the strip line being disposed in the lower middle layer and configured for communicating a data signal to or from the intermediate section when transmitting/receiving data. The disclosure provides a simplified antenna configuration, for the implementation of which the minimum number of layers is used in the printed circuit board.
