A method of producing enzyme granulates, enzyme granulates produced By the method, and the use thereof in formulations is provided, for example, for animal feed, foodstuffs, washing agents, rinsing agents or for pharmaceutical uses. The enzyme granulates have a high relative proportion of active enzyme, particular particle size, good shelf life, particularly small rounding factors and/or low residual moisture proportion, and further specific properties. The production of the enzyme granulates is achieved by linking of the thermal conditions in the injection zone and temperature conditions in the remainder of the apparatus. This is achieved by introduction of heated process gasses for drying exclusively in the injection zone. The secure introduction of articles into the injection zone is achieved by the specific geometric arrangement of the apparatus using gravity. The absolute value for enzyme activity of the enzyme granulates can be controlled by the addition of particles as seed material for the granules.

Method for production of enzyme granules and enzyme granules produced thus

An apparatus for introducing fluids into a solids flow of a spouted bed apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a spray nozzle which opens into a reaction space of the spouted bed apparatus. A lower region of the reaction space is provided with a rectangular cross section for the spouted bed apparatus and is limited in an axial direction by at least one inclined stream return flow wall and an oppositely inclined stream inlet wall with the formation of an axial gap through the reaction space for supplying inlet air. At least one nozzle is also provided for introducing fluid above the gap opens into the reaction space.

Apparatus for depositing fluids in a solids flow of a spouted bed apparatus

A fluidized bed apparatus for batch-by-batch or continuous process control is provided that allows the processes in the fluidization region to be influenced as desired, especially in terms of material movement and dwell time. The fluidized bed apparatus is formed from at least two processing regions and the processing regions are connected to each other by overflow channels. The first processing region is provided with a solids inlet and the last processing region is provided with a solids outlet. For influencing the dwell time, the material to be treated is supplied to at least two processing regions one after the other and flows through these regions, wherein the material transport direction is a cross flow relative to the flow of the fluidization means.

Fluidized bed apparatus for batch-by-batch or continuous process control and method for operating a fluidized bed apparatus

A method for producing granules made from malt extract is provided. The method provides for producing granules continuously or in batches under the prevention as much as possible of non-uniform temperature distributions in the production process. Simultaneously, the controllability of the granulation in the production is improved. This is realized by linking thermal conditions in the spraying zone and the temperature conditions in other region of the apparatus. This is achieved such that the supply of the heated process gas for drying is realized exclusively in the spraying region. The reliable supply of particles into the spraying region is performed through the special geometric configuration of the apparatus under the use of gravity.

Method for granulating malt extracts

A method for producing enzyme granulates, the resulting enzyme granulates, and their use in formulations, e.g., for animal feed, food, washing means, rinsing means, and/or for pharmaceutical purposes and the like. The enzyme granulates show, in particular, a high relative percentage of active enzymes, certain grain sizes, good storage stability, especially small roundness factor, and/or low residual moisture percentage as well as preferably additional specific properties. According to the invention, the enzyme granulates are produced by linking the thermal conditions in the spray zone and the temperature conditions in the remaining region of the fluidized bed. In the process according to the invention, this is achieved in that the supply of heated processing gas is realized for drying exclusively in the injection region. The reliable supply of particles in the injection region is realized through the special geometrical shape of the apparatus under the use of gravity. Through the addition of inert particles as nuclei material for cores, the absolute content of enzyme activity of the enzyme granulate can be controlled.
