An electronic assembly comprises a housing, a cover for the housing, a printed circuit board receivable in the housing, and a compliant pin header assembly. The compliant pin header assembly is mountable in the housing by inter-engaging features on the header assembly and the housing. The compliant pin header assembly has compliant pins for engaging corresponding features on the printed circuit board to connect the compliant pin header assembly electrically to the printed circuit board. The cover, when the electronic assembly is assembled, engages the housing and also engages the printed circuit board at a location spaced from an outer periphery of the printed circuit board.

A tire pressure monitoring apparatus includes a pressure transducer having a housing and a valve stem secured to the housing. The valve stem projects through an opening in a wheel for holding the tire. A retention clip is secured to the valve stem. The retention clip includes a plurality of spring retention members for engaging the opening in the when the valve stem projects through the opening. The retention members are deflected when the valve stem projects through the opening and have resilient properties that spring bias the retention members against the wheel to help retain the tire pressure monitoring apparatus on the wheel.

A tire pressure mounting apparatus is provided including a pressure sensor for sensing the pressure in a tire. The pressure sensor has a housing. A threaded fastener is secured to the housing and forms a first valve portion. A tire valve stem projects through a first opening in a rim for holding the tire. The tire valve stem carries a second valve portion therein. The first valve portion and the second valve portion form a valve when screwed together.

An improved electrical apparatus concludes a manually actuatable electrical device which is disposed on a printed circuit board and has a manually movable control element. A plurality of electrical current conducting compliant pins extend into engagement with conductive linings in openings in the printed circuit board. The electrical apparatus is free of solder connecting the compliant pins to the conductive linings in the openings in the printed circuit board.

The portion () includes an opening () that extends through the portion and defines inner surfaces () of said beam portions () opposite the outer surfaces (and). The inner surfaces () consist essentially of a plurality of blended cylindrical surfaces ().
