There is provided mechanisms for determining priority of use of network resources used by an MC service in a network. A method is performed by a first MC service server. The method comprises obtaining a priority request from a second MC service server for elevated priority of use of networkresources for a service provided by the second MC service server. The method comprises determining whether to grant, reject, or queue the priority request. The method comprises, when determined to grant the priority request, providing a first notification of the grant to the second MC service server and a second notification of the grant to at least one third MC service server.

Priority of network resources in a network

There is provided mechanisms for resource allocation for group communication in a network. A method is performed by a server node of the group communication. The method comprises receiving a first request from a client node for the client node to affiliate with a group of client nodes in order for the client node to join a group communication session of the group communication system. The method comprises requesting, from a core network node and in response to the first request, a first allocation of network resources to be used by the client node for transmission control of the group communication session. The method comprises receiving a second request for a group call from the client node. The method comprises requesting, from the core network node and upon reception of the second request, a second allocation of network resources to be used by the client node for media transmission in the group call.

Resource allocation for group communication in a network

Priority handling in a communications system. The system comprises one or more data bearers and a priority handling module. Each of the one or more bearers is configured to transport one or more of the data flows. The priority handling module is configured to prioritize between data flows, and is further configured to: receive a request for priority configuration or re-configuration of a first data flow; obtain a priority sharing identifier of the first data flow; identify other data flows in the communication system having the priority sharing identifier of the first transport data flow; and update priority rules associated with the first data flow and also with any other identified data flows in the communication system having the priority sharing identifier of the first transport data flow to agree with a shared priority rule.

Priority handling for data flow transport in communication systems

A system, method, and network node for priority handling in a communications system are presented. The system comprises one or more data bearers and a priority handling module. A system, a device, and various methods are described herein for billing a user for their consumption of mobile broadband services which are monitored by a mobile broadband charging system and for their consumption of virtualized cloud resources which are monitored by a cloud operating system. In one example, the system comprises a commercially available mobile broadband charging system and a commercially available cloud operating system and then incorporates the device to combine the commercially available mobile broadband charging system and the commercially available cloud operating system in order to bill the user for their consumption of mobile broadband services and virtualized cloud resources.

A mold arrangement for molding an optodevice onto an optical fibre ribbon. The mould includes several plates which are intended for insertion between the movable top plate and the stationary bottom plate, or counterpressure plate, of a transfer molding press, and includes an inlet channel, primary and secondary runners, and an optodevice molding cavity which is defined by two of the plates, the mould plates, when the mould is closed, and through which the fibre ribbon extends. Each of the mould plates is provided with respective front and back exchangeable jaws. One jaw of the front jaws is provided in the jaw dividing plane with V-grooves which correspond in number to the number of fibers in the fibre ribbon and in which the optical fibers from which a protective covering material has been stripped are positioned so that their centers lie in the jaw dividing plane. That side of the other jaw which lies proximal to the fibers is provided with a recess in which a pad of soft resilient material is mounted. One jaw of the back jaws is provided in the jaw dividing plane with a recess in which the fibre ribbon is positioned so that the centers of the fibers lie in the jaw dividing plane. The other jaw is provided on that side thereof proximal to the ribbon with a recess in which a pad of soft resilient material is mounted. The pads project beyond the dividing plane of respective jaws and press against and firmly hold the fibre ribbon when the mould is closed.
