The invention relates to an onion peeler comprising a first part (') adapted to hold an onion () and at least one second part (&#x2032;) comprising a frame on which first and/or second arms () are arranged around an opening (&#x2032;). First free ends () of the arms are pointing towards a center axis (a) of the opening (&#x2032;) and are radially moveable with respect to the center axis (a) of the opening. At least two of the first arms () are provided with vertically arranged cutting means () and at least two of the second arms () are provided with peeling means (). The invention is characterized in that the cutting means () protrudes from the first end () of the respective first arm () at least in a direction of an extension of the respective first arm () and is provided with at least one cutting edge () wherein the cutting means () have at least partly a disc shape with a diameter (d) and wherein its perimeter is acting as cutting edge ().

Onion peeling device

A vegetable and fruit slicer for slicing vegetables and fruit comprising a knife part () and a cooperating anvil part (). The knife part () comprises at least two sets of knives (), where a set of knives () comprises at least two knives () arranged at predetermined lateral distances and predetermined level distances from each other forming a stair or a fan (). Only one knife () of each set () is positioned at each level and the lateral distances between the knives () positioned at the same level are the same and constant for each level of knives (). A method, wherein a first level of at least two knives () starts cutting the vegetable or fruit to be cut, followed by at least a second level of a preferably corresponding number of knives () and having the same internal distance in between the knives in every level.

Vegetable and fruit slicer and method for slicing

A food press, for example a garlic press, has a first handle with an accommodation space for the food. The first handle is, via an openable pivot, connected to a second handle which has a press plate. The food press further has a comminutor unit with a perforated plate which, in a position of use, is adjacent the accommodation space and through which the food is pressed. According to the present invention, the comminutor unit is, at opposing ends, connected via a first and second non-openable pivot, to the first and the second handles, respectively. The openable pivot includes recesses on the first handle and pins, which are insertable in the recesses on the second handle.
