According to a first aspect of embodiments herein, the object is achieved by a method performed by a mobile terminal for uploading a file in a communications network. After the mobile terminal () has selected a buffering module to be used for uploading the file, it sends () to the selected buffering module, the file to be uploaded in the communications network. The mobile terminal receives () a notification from the selected buffering module. The notification is about an estimated time to any one or more out of: upload start and upload end. The mobile terminal then refrains () from re-sending to the selected buffering module the file to be uploaded in the communications network until the estimated time to any one or more out of: upload start and upload end has expired.

A method and monitoring center for monitoring occurrence of events in a monitored area, where a monitoring equipment displays information that reflects sensor data reported from sensors in the monitored area. When the monitoring center detects an abnormal event, it identifies a set of sensors which are potentially impacted by the event, and triggers the sensors to enter a vigilance state of elevated operation and to deliver enhanced sensor data. Further, a representation of the abnormal event is auto-zoomed on the monitoring equipment based on the enhanced sensor data from the sensors to increase resolution of the displayed representation.

Method and monitoring centre for monitoring occurrence of an event

One method by a network operations center node controls collection of information from electronic devices. A request message is received from a sensor, which requests collection of information from electronic devices within range of the sensor. One of a plurality of radio access networks is selected based on it likely being communicatively connected to electronic devices within range of the sensor. An inquiry message is sent to the radio access network for broadcast to the electronic devices, requesting information from the electronic devices. An authentication message is received from a responsive electronic device. An information collection disclosure response that identifies who is requesting collection of the information from the electronic device and/or how information collected from the electronic device will be used, is sent to the electronic device.
